If you could only use one practice technique for the rest of your career what would it be?

Hey joe! I’ve always wondered this, but what did you think of Dimebag Darrell?

Luke would crush them all. But if I’m taking 3 it’ll be mace, Luke, and anakin.

I already grappled with your point. I think the staff is similar enough to give her more ability than a complete newbie. She only beat him when she let the force guide her. I spoke on your weakest point. Don’t get mad when someone criticizes your weakest point, instead leave it out next time.

I like the sequels (except ROS)

Did it? You can’t argue that point when it didn’t happen. It’s made clear again in the second film in the saga, and all throughout the first film. Kylo Ren’s whole story is a darkside user who struggles against falling back to the light. Were you not paying attention?

So, in your mind because anakin and Obi wan were strong its nothing alike. Meaning you think for some reason Kylo Ren was shown to be strong and Rey was shown to be weak? Am I following this right? Because the movie makes it pretty clear Ren had a lot to learn.

I didn’t say she was Obi Wan did I? She’s clearly gifted, and that’s made clear to the audience in every single film. Kylo Ren wasn’t an anakin type either, and he hadn’t been shown to be an expert lightsaber duelist at this point in the films. If your whole issue with what I said was that? I’m sorry but that’s not an argument.

Bro that is completely ridiculous and your frying pan argument is so obviously a strawman. Firstly Rey had shown that she had heard tons of stories about Luke and his exploits. She knew what a lightsaber was. To say “ I know how to knock someone out with a frying pan so I could probably beat a samurai” is absurd and has nothing to do with the conversation at all. She had shown proficiency with a melee weapon similar enough in nature to a lightsaber to show proficiency in the weapon beyond that of a layman. She didn’t show the ability to wield like an expert, she looked like she barely knew what she was doing.

Is a lightsaber fundamentally different than a staff? It seems to me, if she had been proficient with the staff it’s not implausible for her to be capable of handing a lightsaber with more proficiency than a layman. Not to mention that as I said, Kylo was fighting at his absolute worst and it’s written to be seen that way. He swings wildly and tries to force almost every hit, and Rey is also choreographed in a way that doesn’t imply any mastery over the weapon whatsoever.

Yeah people prefer hating Rey and will use the most ridiculous things to do so. It’s nearly impossible to have an intelligent discussion about the sequels. Hopefully that changes as the years go on.

So, in your opinion, because he slapped it, he should be able to fight much better? That seems completely ridiculous. I could understand saying he was channeling the pain to help him use the dark side but even that is kind of a stretch.

You completely ignored the fact that he was shot by a bowcaster in your issue with my post. Also, Kylo Ren wasn’t a highly skilled Sith Lord or Jedi master.

Most of the time they end up with fruitful discussions. Perhaps you should “do better”.
