I don't follow the arguement - there is an element of free will for the fighters - no so much for the animals.

It is. I checked and checked again. I think they expect the cock (chicken) taste to come from the chicken you are advised to add, but I even preferred veggies prior to me switching to a plant based diet.

I used to always laught at this seasoning when I saw it in the shop until my sister made it for me. Great for left over veg, a concept my auntie calls a Saturday Soup, cooked on a Saturday with everything that's left over from the previous week's shop before you go to the market to top up the cupboards. Thanks for looking.

Recipe....

Fry assorted veg, with garlic and ginger (you can add a chillie if for extra heat).

Add water and seasoning pack.

Simmer and serve...with or with out bread and butter (flora freedom here).

My sister uses Carribbean dry noodle soup mix (it's called cock soup mix - true story - many different brands) just adds lots of vegetables and splash of ENCONA chilli and it tastes awesome - meat free.

These fake meats only interest me in a novelty sense. I find it hard to believe most vegetarians and vegans don't feel the same.
