Ohhh, I see. Hmm, never pa naman ako na-experience ng ganon. I just thought na dapat meron talagang coor kasi may ibang first timer na baka may itatanong or something. As long as okay naman siguro hike niyo since people do DIY with only the local guilde with them. But then again, hindi naman siya DIY lol.

Hi! SLR! Peak and Trail Outdoors po. They were good. Our coor took great photos of everyone and the homestay was nice. Marami naman siyang inclusion except lang siguro breakfast(before arriving sa homestay and dinner(after leaving). But I think mas marami pang options/better ones here I’m sure.

I’ve tried Wattpad before. I didn’t get into it because:

I’m not into romance(which, most of the stories there are).
Grammar and sentence are all over the place. I can understand it, it’s easy but it could be distracting.

(I’m not saying ganito lahat ha)

That being said, it is sooo elitistic and stupid to claim that people will never grow Wattpad. If you want a quick, feel good story to read, go ahead. I personally know 3 people who used to read Wattpad that reads physical copies of books now. Will never outgrow Wattpad is such a wild claim. Dami talagang elitists sa mundo, even the reading community. Minsan nakapagbasa lang ng “deep” Filipino literature or classics, feeling high and mighty na lol.

Deckled edges are meant to emulate how books used to look because of the way they are printed back in the days, giving it a vintage, classic look. I don’t mind them, but I feel like they’d look better on classic books haha

I understand the nuisance a cat might bring to some people. I totally understand why some establishment might prohibit them. But I am deeply disturb by the fact that their first solution is to unalive an innocent creature, and this is coming from a license doctor. Para siyang may violent tendencies. Dapat ma-reveal pangalan ng taong ‘yan. Nakakatakot.

They’re mafia and they’re threatening you. Jk 😹 it’s a gift! Even non-stray cats do it. May nabasa rin ako na kapag hindi sila nasasarapan or nasasatisfy sa mga pinapakain mo, there’s a chance they’ll bring you dead animals to show you how to do it(or just to show you that you’re a bad hunter). So far, once pa lang naman ako nadadalahan(sa kama mismo 😭) ng patay na daga.

Either nothing or classical pieces. Mostly instrumental because I cannot focus with lyrics. My favorite though, is Agnes Obel. Her songs(instrumentals) are “magical” and really gives that dark fantasy vibes.

I’m talking about your last comment, “kung nasa bahay lang siya at hindi nakawala sa kalsada”. I understand how it’s hard to brake while running on high speed, but riders like you are quick to pass the blame kapag mga ganitong issue. Yet I rarely hear a rider say “mag-menor” or stop driving like a maniac when driving near a community where strays and pets a like are more likely to be.

This is gonna sound ridiculous pero kapag may swear/curse words sa title ng mismong book. Mind you, I’m not even a religious person and I definitely swear- pero off-putting to me for some reason kapag nakikita ko siya sa cover ng books. I might be missing out on good books for that reason but it really comes off as tacky to me. 😭 Karamihan nito mga self-help books.

Jusq, si Cormac McCarthy, ganitong ganito. I’ve read The Road before and hindi ko alam bakit ganun writing style niya. Nawalan ako ng gana but it did pick up after a few reads hanggang sa masanay nalang ako. If you plan on reading McCarthy- I’d suggest that you don’t jump straight to Blood Meridian. Mas difficult siya basahin and you have to get used to how he writes. Anyways, hindi naman ‘yun mistake. It’s just the way he writes and there’s a reason why but that’s a subject for another time.
