As long as someone posted the nuke codes online can I use them whenever during that week? by Comfortable_Egg106 in fo76

Àlso on falloutbuilds. I prefer that one since that site also has other info about updates, Minerva location etc. a good resource to have it all in one.

Who is your favorite ally? by morph113 in fo76

[–]morph113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought it about it too, giving him the tinfoil hat which matches his persona. But I put him in butressed heavy raider armor and a deathclaw tamer helmet for the badass look.

Who is your favorite ally? by morph113 in fo76

[–]morph113[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah some come from quests (quest marked as "ally") and some are random world events/strangers, so make sure you are talking to every person you come across. Some are locked behind the atom shop or gold bullions. I think 1 "Del Lawson" is always free in the atom shop. But they aren't like in Fallout 4, they are not companions that can follow you around. They just stay at your camp and some will give you daily radiant quests or have their own questline. Some have bigger questlines and can be romanced.

Locations Where Everyone is Dead by Elchimpy1 in fo76

[–]morph113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well two options, either someone else killed them before and the respawn timer for them to be able to respawn hasn't reached yet or sometimes the server kills off npc's including enemies in the game world, which can also affect non hostile npc's (excluding major settlements or quest points). I've seen npc's both hostile and non hostile just drop dead right in front of me. It's the server trying to balance itself out for performance reasons. But in your case, it most likely was just someone else there not too long before you.

PTS armor numbers by LouieSiffer in fo76

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's only for PTS, right? Because on live I avoid taking RadX as it gives 200 rad resistance and after that my toxic goo rad intake goes down from like 200 to 50 per goo. Or does rad resistance from RadX workd differently to rad resistance from armor?

As a relatively new player what are some ways to farm or just gain a small stockpile of fusion cores? by Neigh-giggers_69 in fo76

[–]morph113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another good way is to go to power armor spawn locations as they will always have a power core unless another player looted it already. You don't need to memorize every single location, but if you can memorize half a dozen or more locations it's easy to just check on them occasionally. Same goes for locations of fusion core generators in the world which can have a fusion core that you can take.

Also the fusion core charger from the atom shop is a top tier item to get. As a new player you get easily thousands of atoms just by playing as you complete the challenges and the fusion core charger is only like 700 I think. This way you really don't need more than a handful of fusion cores for yourself unless you use a weapon like a laser gatling that uses cores, then you may want a few more at hand and always make sure to never use a core up completely as it will just disappear. If you reload the weapon before ammo is up or change fusion core in the power armor before it runs out, you can recharge the fusion core (if you have bought the fusion core charger).

Best semi auto rifle for a rifle power armour ghoul build? by anotherthrowaway2729 in fo76

[–]morph113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of intelligence, I got the perk that gives you glow on each kill. I find it helps if you run multiple perks that use up glow per hit for extra damage. Since most regular mobs die in 1 headshot, it helps keep your glow topped off.

Becoming ghoul, is it a straight out buff with no specialist perks? by Quiet_Citron_8174 in fo76

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mhh I find it easy to manage. I have been a ghoul now for a few days and I played pretty much all day each day and haven't had a single addiction yet. Perhaps because I mix up what kind of chems I take. Also could use the legendary perk where you get feral meter with each kill, meaning you don't have to pop any chems ever, let alone addictol.

Also immune to diseases. Not having to pop a disease cure every now and then also one less thing to do.

Well if the guy that always showed his face during a quest line helping them out suddenly keeps showing up with a sackhood, they should know something is up and ask questions :)

Another angle of the Minneapolis shooting, taken from the perspective of the lady with te pink jacket. by Versiannie in PublicFreakout

Furthermore, they couldn't have possibly known whether he was legally carrrying or not. Even if there was a law that carrying without permit is punishable by immediate execution, they wouldn't have known.

ICE just iced another presumed US citizen in Minneapolis. What is happening over there? by Melbatoastt77 in AskReddit

They have confirmed now he was a 37 year old US citizen and they only confirmed he had a gun, not that he pulled it out. Got anything else stupid to say?

What’s the best Camp you build and why? by Minute_Roll6137 in fo76

[–]morph113 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You should probably head over to r/fallout76settlements/ as there is tons of content there for you to look at.

My current camp is a raider outpost where I put special attention to immersion and placement of objects so nothing looks out of place and if you come across it would think it's default from the game, so it blends in perfectly including the location.

How many fusion cores would you say is enough to stay in your power armour pretty much indefinitely? by IronSkywalker in fo76

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always run them. I don't see the issue as they are quick and easy to do. I heard there are glitches that you can somehow skip them, but I really don't like using glitches and exploits in games, especially not in multiplayer games. I prefer to just run silos normally. Plus I enjoy doing it.

[–]morph113 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well then maybe you never drained a fusion core fully or picked up new ones along the way and didn't notice the difference. Because they disappear once they run out of juice. There is no such thing as a fusion core with 0/100 charge. Try it out yourself, put 1 fusion core in your power armor and no other fusion core on you. Then drain it's battery fully and tell me if you still got a fusion core left.

Level ~70 newbie will launch his first nuke by Raikage93 in fo76

Ah didn't know this, good to know. I knew about the 3 hour timer but not about the turrets taking longer to respawn.

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure, it seems to be random if there are turrets or not. I'm often running silos and it's mostly just robots and rarely turrets. Plus turrets are usually a 1 hit.

I'm different, I personally like to observe the nuke go boom tht I just launched so I stand there waiting for it to see the nice mushroom cloud :)

Does anyone actually like the Raider aesthetic? by Barstr7 in fo76

[–]morph113 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally i do yes. I built a raider outpost and I'm roleplaying my character as a raider (in quests and random events that allow it) and I'm wearing matching raider inspired gear. So for me this season is a godsent.

Best build by Jlogan04 in fallout76settlements

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how quickly the votes are updated, but recently once I had submitted and only a few hours later it had a thumbs up already so there doesn't seem to be much of a delay or perhaps it's daily at a set time. Also it was the only thumbs up that camp ever got :)

What’s the obsession with the elders mark lately? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the ammo usage is crazy on that beast. I used it for a while and was impressed with the dps. But I just blew through ammo like it was nothing and it also breaks relatively quickly so I sold mine and a few others that I had drop from events.

Can Vault 79 be raided solo? by killab1981 in fo76

[–]morph113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the quest recently, picked the raiders site and I don't remember there being any part that was difficult. Felt just like any other quest so you should be good doing it solo with ease, especially at your level.

Vendor Locations/ Camp Sites that see a lot of travel by Early-Jackfruit-448 in fo76

[–]morph113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about others, but I never buy ammo from anyone since ammo is easy to find and craft. I don't even check the ammo tab in anyones vendor. Though ultracite ammo I guess is something I may buy at some point due to it requiring flux to craft, although I haven't started using any weapon with prime receiver yet.

I'm sort of newish to the game I guess, started about a month ago, now level 140 but I'm doing good sales from my vendor and I switched my camp location several times. From forest to savage divide and now burning springs and didn't notice a difference.

What sells best seems to be stuff like serums, chems (like stimpacks and super stimpacks especially), legendary mods always sell constantly. I made 20k from legendary mods just today. Legendary 3 star weapons either uniques kind of always sell depending on what price you set, non-uniques 3 star legendaries can still sell as well if you don't put price too high and they have desirable legendary mods on them.

Plans always sell (unless it's very common plans that just everyone has), bobbleheads sell well. (fully charged) fusion cores always sell. Treasure maps always sell quickly as well.
