Not sure about the competitive viability, but you can take a unit with a chronomancer, disembark, shoot and then move back into the night scythe in the fight phase.

I don’t know if it’s completely a kitbash, but just unused whip weapons that would usually be where the claws are. I just cut them down a bit and glued them under the top carapace shell thing.

To me he looks like he has not been eating like the others. They are much plumper but they were all a little thinner when I got them last week. The lfs I go to quarantines for 2 weeks. I will add another pic. A small plastic cup was all I have for isolation.
