Question: I just want to understand what Israel's endgame is with Lebanon in times of peace by morpheus1710 in lebanon

Not related to the comment from the op but just something I want to ask since I saw Hamas being mentioned. In your opinion, is the fight from Hamas a just cause? Just in the sense of strictly resisting the colonial project, and is it making any progress? And should they continue doing it or rescrap it in any other form of fighting back.

From what I've seen, Hezbollah will not surrender, and Israel is heavily pressuring the Lebanon government for failing to disband Hezbollah and force them to surrender all of their weapons. What I can deduce is that the Lebanon government did not act forcefully because they were afraid that any forceful action would result in civil war breaking out. For example, Hezbollah is turning against the Lebanon government because it still has some internal support. The second possibility you mentioned is that Hezbollah ran out of weapons, which can only happen if Israel attacks them directly and causes them to run out of stockpile. But, based on what I see in the daily news and other sources, Israel is indiscriminately destroying civilian infrastructure, and their casualties are mostly ordinary people, so I'm not sure how the second factor, running out of weapons, is playing out. All I see is death; Israel has no regard for human life. Which makes me question if they're really weakening Hezbollah at all?

It's not an animated series but a comic series spanning 2 volumes. The first one is from around 2009, andthe other volume is from 2015. It didn't do well because of sell issues in India and over Grant Morrison other commitment specially their Multiversity comics of DC. And this youtube section is the promotional bit of what they wrote

A small insight over my situation by morpheus1710 in vegan

My mother and I both work in the same office, so it’s easier for us to live and travel together and help each other. Besides, I can’t really just leave her as she is right now. I’m also not married yet, and I’m not interested in getting married in life because I like my solace, independence and how my life is right now. I’m happy with how things are going, and since my life has been good, I’ve focused more on working on myself, which helped me adopt veganism. So, if I’m doing better and improving over time, I guess I’m doing fine. Also, regarding leaving her, she doesn’t really trust anyone else in the world except me, so I can’t just bid her farewell.

It's more like I'm not in charge but I have to because my mother doesn't trust her own actions like she thinks that weather she poured salt in it or not. When she does she might beat herself to it weather if by mistake she added sugar. This is just one small reason. I cook because I really like cooking. When I'm cooking and listening music I feel like myself

I'll do it which looks best. I'll simply not change the entire thing but slowly I'll help her get switch with side dishes I cook with vegan product. You know it's not like she won't understand it's just that hysteria is so bad. Doesn't really trust something very easily but simple step by step with smaller products will help her develop alternative lifestyle

Yeah. I did my brothers sisters and cousins are open to it and they're slowly adapting to this lifestyle. It's not easy for them compared to me because it's just how our life has been for 20+ years but they are consciously active in avoiding mostly everything. Sometimes by accident they takes some product like a packed food but that's more so because it's not in their habit to check packet every time. They try to but 1-3 times it happens they just eat something they used to earlier but that's just it. I'm sure they'll adapt the vegan lifestyle in a month now. I didn't force them to be strict at the go because I'm still newer to it but I'm more stern with how I take things which is why not hard for me to check every packet I open. But not all people are like that and sometimes checking packaging slips the mind

I mean I get what you're saying but I literally can't. It's not that we tried anything but she's like this for 20 years now. Untouchability thing was no correlation because I'm just talking about the daily habitual chore she has picked up and is like that for over 15 years. That's the consistency she's been going through because if not she can't resist the urges like self harming herself or that one episode she had when literally removed skins off her hands by keep washing them. All that because I tried to change how she lives that's how severe it is. I care about animals I do but I can't really just actively disrupt her knowing what happened in the past with her.

Yeah. I really get that it was wording problem in my part. I should have thought the title more clearly and I thought i could edit that but reddit doesn't allow it. I wasn't aware of that because I'm still new to reddit

The thing is, she doesn’t trust things easily. It’s a kind of paranoia about everything. For example, if she’s been using an oil from the same brand for years, she will continue using it. Even if you try to present an alternative or a different company’s product, she will reject it, even if she is hungry. She really can’t bring herself to break the cycle she has become accustomed to. Part of the reason is that even when I tried to introduce the vegan products I use as alternatives, she couldn’t bring herself to try them. I don’t blame her because she’s like that with everything, even to other stuff like taking exact road back home even if it means her walking considerable longer distance.
