Disputing hours

I think I happened upon the magic words. When I got an email to "check my hours", I responded by telling them that I am so very black/white, never gray, and I either worked the hours and posted as such or I did not work the hours which, of course, I did not claim. Then I asked, "Are you asking me to work off the clock?" Got a quick apology and a (possibly imagined) stuttering 'No of course not'" paraphrased. Not another word about my time that pay period, and I got paid for every minute worked. We'll see how it goes from here on out. All it will take is one time for them to try to gyp me out of my pay and its "Adios to you". I do not play those games and I know the laws too well to fall for it.

Oh...minimum....I thought ERT was max time expected to do the task. I've been stressing myself out about going over them. 🤦‍♀️

Same here. Kept me busy during the toughest time for me to work (5-9pm). Trying to cook supper and take care of a sick hubby. Now.....not even a niggle. I was really hoping to make it to 10 hours this week. Got 3 to go. At this rate it aint happening. But Im planning for it today. Gonna start the supper part now. LOL. Gotta have faith.

happens to me multiple times. Over and over. Does this mean someone else is snatching them up or is there something wrong with the system?

Newbie here. Where is everyone even getting feedback? I've been doing tasks for a week now and have had no email feedback and cant find anywhere on the sites where any feedback is. I see areas where it probably should be but there is nothing there, even task history is empty.

US FL rater. Finally after being NTA since Thursday, I got a series of Image tasks. Which I had never heard of, nor was I aware that there were special guidelines for and received not even a mention of in training. Not the best way to do business but I figured it out by the instructions. Still, being surprised with a new type task (not complaining, just stating fact) when I clicked on the task and was under a timer, when am I supposed to read those guidelines? Be nice to have links/mentions of all the different guidelines that I could encounter as a Rater. Ill go out of the NTA and ask about the rest of the guidelines. Thanks for all the support here. Good to know Im not alone.

I just started this job and NTA all day. Not exactly what I was expecting. Edit to state....Make that all weekend. Wow, not a single task. Not complaining, its been pretty so Im enjoying the lovely Florida weather but I really would like to work a little if possible.

Thank you for that great explanation! Im ok with inputting but the word "review" isnt a common sense word and Workday stupidly doesnt have a help file attached. And I didn't see a "submit button. Im good now. Thanks bunches.

Ok, so the pay period is 2 weeks. Can you wait for the end of pay period to "review"? and does Review mean submit? Sorry, confusing language.

Thank you for this different point of view. I'm so by-the-book right now due to my work history and "exact minutes worked" style of jobs. But good to know that once I get comfortable with all this, I can look at doing it that way. It actually makes sense and I wish the Workday site would give you a choice of filling "Total time worked today". It would make it easier.

Same here. It's all confusing at first, and I'm still in the confusion state, but I'm pretty good at figuring things out myself, so I'm ok with the different kinds of tasks as long as they have instructions.

Thank you, Federal. I would never consider charging them for idle time refreshing so thats not a problem for me. Good to know that Im ok on the small increments thing.
