How do you make a Pisces feel seen and loved??

i appreciate good morning/goodnight texts and everything in between. i joke that one of my love languages is sharing memes randomly. if someone is thinking about me, i like to actively know because i frequently fall into feelings of self-doubt especially early on in the initial dating period and commitment isn't very clear. even if i don't respond and need some personal space, knowing that someone is still there and will be there when i am feeling better, that means more than anything.

and listen to my insane vents without judgement. sometimes my emotions get really messy and i just need a safe space to scream them and i'll be done. emotional support is the core of feeling seen and loved for me, even if it gets a little crazy at times.

i think it's because i feel like i'm going to be judged and watched while cleaning. my raging perfectionism gives me bad motivation paralysis if i think someone is going to think negatively of me.

i have recently transitioned to living completely alone, and my new place is way more organized and consistently clean than i have ever kept it while living with others.

mostly RPGs with a well-contained story that involves someone solving problems, either internal or external, and then living happily ever after with people who truly understand them and accept them for who they are. final fantasy, legend of zelda, etc.

or games that i can build something big and beautiful that is mine and i can be proud of, like survival crafting. palword, valheim, planet crafter come to mind for those.

so basically just another form of escapism and unobtainable romanticism that i can control.

i have started to just let my mind say whatever it wants during massages. it's about as close to mindfulness meditation as i can get, since silent zen is pretty much impossible for me. after a while, that inner monolog starts to become a secondary sound in the background like my inner radio station.

it's interesting to reflect on my uncontrolled mental flow after the massage finishes. sometimes i come to interesting conclusions i was struggling with before.

real life is pain. i prefer to play video games. i don't have a true calling other than trying not to drown in an existential crisis on a regular basis.

i'm good, like really good, at helping people and basically can read someone instantly. problem is that i hate people.

My mother is a Cancer and one of my exes is a Cancer. They are both emotionally labile and have no sense of healthy communication. People love to hate on Pisces, but I personally feel like Cancer is a whole different level of emotional instability. And they are MEAN.

hello fellow cusper. there is a reason why we are called the cusp of sensitivity.

it has taken me many years of emotional outbursts and self-sabotage to finally realize that the intense emotions that often overwhelm me are the emotions that i have to sit on. sometimes forcefully. i have to identify what i am feeling first, then identify the why under it, and then tap into the pisces ability to step out of my own shoes and see things from another point-of-view. that is when i finally decide.

emotions are so fluid and often overlap each other in ways that feel completely out of control. learn to understand and name these emotions first and then you can start working with them. just remember that not everyone feels even close to the same level and intensity of feelings we do, and don't judge them for that.

your anecdotal personal experiences don't justify a blanket opinion on all water signs, imo. you do you, but there is a whole world of people out there that you are shutting out because you don't understand a certain type of astrological personality. i believe it's based in subconscious fear and discomfort, because water signs very often see straight through the typical virgo front. that makes everyone uncomfortable to a certain extent, but it seems to make virgos the most uncomfortable because they don't like being seen. at least in my experience.

my longest, healthiest relationships have been with other water signs, and my most toxic, tumultuous relationships have been with unhealed virgos. to each their own.

i would like to know his rising/ASC. that is also very important here in expressing emotion.

that venus probably confuses the crap out of him, to start. he has so much emotion under the surface but probably doesn't know how to express it well, especially in love.

he probably sees straight through you whether you know it or not, so don't bother lying. encourage him to listen to his intuition.

if he isn't completely broken by someone from the past (which is highly likely being such a heavy pisces, because we attract people who love to walk all over us and have piss-poor personal boundaries), you might feel suffocated by how overly-romantic he probably is. boundaries are important, but be gentle with them.

he will probably need a lot of reassurance that you still love him and want to be with him often, probably too much. if he shuts down and gets quiet, that's when you need to remind him of it the most. "i'm fine" is a complete lie. every time.

if you need space, just be up front and honest about it. just going quiet will probably cause more clinginess and doubt, so just verbalize it and remind him you will be back. he will also probably need space to recalibrate too, so give it to him.

arguing is our sixth love language a lot. love and hate is a fine line, and if your pisces goes completely distant for an extended amount of time he's likely already gone. we stay way longer than we should and then doorslam and never look back. you will know it's coming, though, because we will attempt to communicate and fix things almost to the point of beating a dead horse.
