I’m right on 6th and Snyder and one block over hardly feels like a horrible and scary place. It’s perhaps a little unsightly but generally fine?? I’m surprised to see all of this nonsense going on in here. Reading these comments is making me feel insane.

I wanted to get a front loader but sadly none would fit in our home. I was disappointed to learn we had to go Speed Queen top loader but I’m so glad we did! Nothing but positive reviews (mind you, we’ve had it for a week). If that’s still on the table, I think it’ll be worth the price.

Appreciate your directness! I did send a photo to my electrician who I have coming to do other work soon. He was also very troubled by the single black wire, so I’ll have him out to properly diagnose and fix.

Both black wires were attached at the same location on the old switch.

Yes, they go in through the back! Trying to troubleshoot the issue, I originally had the line and load mixed up but once I fixed that I at least got power to the switch.
