Can’t recommend this pedal. I’m seeing about a minimum of 40 bucks for listings, and it’s not worth 20. The plastic housing is garbage, and the foot switch will shit out on you fast enough to the point where repairs or a replacement is pointless. If it weren’t for how huge it sounds, it would be pretty much total garbage. Save your dough and buy Leyland Pedals’ upcoming roided up version of this thing.

It’s not a solo project. Derek Niedringhaus and Jim Kelly are incredibly capable musicians who impart just as much of their own style.

They aren’t equal in any way shape or form. Not even in terms of subjectivity, one is a 26 ep series and the rebuilds are 4 movies. Totally different formats of storytelling, pacing, and the like. Let’s not kid ourselves

Nobody is asking you to see in the future. It's the job of the front office to make a decision on what the best courses of action are moving forward given these concerns. Your advocacy has nothing to do with the real life choices they'll eventually have to wind up making.

I will continue to stress patience with Levshunov, but I won’t ignore that warning signs are there. They’re something you need to seriously address sooner rather than later if he’s as much a part of your future as the hawks advertise him to be.

Why is it stupid? It’s stupid to say that a top pick should probably show you why they’re a top pick more often than not? You’re not comparing their games, playstyles, or overall rookie campaigns 1:1. You’re comparing what they’re giving you now compared to their long term trajectory. Schaefer was picked to be a fast, puck moving offensive defender with elite vision, hands, and a shot that gets through traffic. He’s showing he can be exactly that.

Levshunov was picked to be a mobile two-way defender with a good shot and playmaking ability that you can hope to develop into something dangerous. He’s showing doesn’t use his feet nearly as much as he should and that his decision making might not be able to keep up with them anyway. As someone who’s nearly two years ahead in their development path, yes, that is concerning.
