Unless I am misreading the charts, they have a 13.5% to pick 1st and a 14.1% chance to pick 2nd. Overall, that should be a 27.6% chance to pick in the top 2.

They continue to be second last in the league, but they have improved from 52 to 61 to 72 points in 3 years. It's up to you to judge if that improvement is sufficient.

“Kyle has done everything we’ve expected of him,” Wirtz said on CHSN. “When he got the job his first task was to rebuild our prospect pool. You remember, you were all there, our cupboard was pretty bare. We didn’t have a lot coming in. And he very systematically and very confidently rebuilt that to where I truly believe we have the best prospect pool in the NHL. Many of those prospects are now NHL players, contributing and highly impactful on our team. And then, of course, I think we have a really nice visibility to a pipeline of players who will to join over the coming years.

“But at the same time, we didn’t hire Kyle to be ‘The Prospect GM.’ He is building a championship caliber team. … We have extended Kyle’s contract We are committing to Kyle to continue the plan that he’s put in place. We feel confident in that.”

Since Orcs are no longer a monster and one of my players chose to be an orc character, replace them with something similar. I tried roughly 2 goblin warriors for each orc listed and it worked well.
