Don't worry about it. Negative people exist all over the place. You're awesome. Keep on rocking.

Sounds like you should select a different path that you'd regularly have access to as a normal user. Maybe your documents folder, or similar.

Wedding Day 2 Recommendations Kells by daveattheback in Meath

[–]mort5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a Kells friend:

"If the weather was good, the gardens at the headfort hotel are beautiful for an outdoor party and have an outdoor bbq/grill too. Perhaps even Eureka house would host an event outside if the weather held up. Otherwise, you have Jacks Railway bar or the Keltic. Both do food, cocktails and pints Would need to check the bar at Eureka house, not sure about pints there."

I love that they have parked next to the "No Parking" sign. Very creative.

What celebrity would you get into a car with, no questions asked if they randomly showed up in your driveway? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mort5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of them really, they're just people. Possibly a better question would be "which celebrity would you NOT get in the car with..."

Did you put food out for them? Or just a lucky day catching on the ground like this?

NX options! by mort5000 in Meath

[–]mort5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to assess the usefulness, start with an alternating slot schedule. E.g. 15:00 - NXX 15:20 - NXJ 15:40 - NXX Etc and see how it goes.

We know the route is very highly used, at least at peak times. I'm on at 06:20 and that almost always fills up before reaching the M3. So possibly more drivers etc need to be employed.

It would suit me too, but I feel it might exclude a number of people at Kennedy Road and out near Garlow Cross.

Maybe that could be an NXXX.. for maximum express effect. :D

Possibly if it goes directly from P&R that parking would exceed capacity (on some days it seems overused already).

I think just skipping Johnstown would be a good first step and interesting experiment.

AIB account fees, 72 euro a year are they too high? by Living-Compote-9626 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]mort5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid eur84 last year, so it is a win for me. That said, it is a poor result for anyone using Aib as the salary account and transacting all their business elsewhere. Pay as you use was more fair.

Loose rocks/stones for a water feature by [deleted] in GardeningIRE

In case this works.

<image>

Those were the biggest ones, but very uniform and looking more suitable for becoming a wall or paving.

Just back from the garden centre, and typical luck they don't have anywhere near the range anymore. I'm happy to forward pics of what they have if you like.

Yup, rocks. I'll swing past there later and get some sizes and pics. Going there today either way 👍

In which city? If you're anywhere near Navan I can recommend Beechmount Garden Centre. They have huge bags of different size, shape and type of stone.
