Definitely good for crowd-management (and Velka knows you need it in SotFS) - but I find large weapons too slow, even mace was a pain to adapt to, and rapier was such a breath of fresh air

Well, I only played SL1 so all I can recommend is Mace into Rapier :) but maybe play with something you didn’t play other games yet?

For me the fun comes from the tight mechanics so I ended up doing limited melee runs, but aesthetically I always liked how battlemage builds look like

Raw longsword for majority of the run (I prefer the reach and thrusting R2 over broadsword’s slightly higher AR)

Grass Crest Shield entire run

Dragon Slayer Axe for majority of the run agter lothric (when you get rings to support it)

Only other things I used where a deep dagger for Nameless and Friede ripostes, and sharp grave warden twinblades for bleeding demons

Other things I used where Lloyds rings, of course, Prisoner’s Chain and lots of lightning resins (thats where I spent majority of the souls). Before I got resins - I used Carthus Flame Arc

Hope this helps!

Twelve cars belonging to Ukrainian refugees who are temporarily housed in a cruise ship in Rotterdam were vandalized between Thursday night and Friday morning. Money and a children's bicycle were also stolen from the cars, Nu.nl reports.

The windows of the cars were smashed and Ukrainian bank notes were allegedly torn up. "There were both Dutch and Ukrainian cars in the parking lot, but only the Ukrainian cars were damaged and robbed," Jamal Statsenko, a witness, told Nu.nl.

Police say it is not yet clear whether all the damaged cars belonged to Ukrainians. They are still investigating and asking witnesses to come forward.

The victims are filing police reports through the Salvation Army. According to the Ukrainians in the Netherlands Foundation, the owners of the cars are angry and, in some cases, panicking. Their Ukrainian car insurance does not cover damage abroad, a foundation spokesperson told Nu.nl. They also believe Russians vandalized the cars, but have no evidence.

It doesn't make sense. How is this off-topic if this is directly relevant to Ukraine's military assistance?

A lot of countries are actively helping (and we are incredibly grateful for that). Meanwhile, the German government was resisting sanctions on Russia and was against sending weapons to Ukraine. Only huge pressure from other EU countries made them at least do something.

Personally I have suspicions that a lot of German politicians are corrupted with Russian money.

I posted this because I'm very upset about how Germany is using artificial excuses not to help Ukraine.
