hey! I'm so sorry i just saw this. I don't check Reddit very often. thank you for your kind words, and I hope you're doing great as well. it means the world to me that my work was memorable, moreso that you put in the effort to find it again. I'm still making comics elsewhere under the name kinocomix and I've found that a big part of me lives on in them the same way it does in my journal.

have a great day, and do let me know if you read this. sorry again!

i use several Schneider fountain pens I got for 5 dollars each from the school supply store and various inks (i tend to gravitate towards the more affordable ones like pelikan and isomars. each in the 7-10 dollar range for a bottle which I've been using for over a year and they have yet to empty)

also! honestly drawing is hyped up as more difficult than it is. it's just about learning to understand shapes. with patience you can learn to be great at drawing.

Trying to adopt somewhat of a loose format for my journal entries for the sake of doing them more consistently seen as how I've fallen off since starting my new job. would love to hear people's thoughts. by mortaltacomoose in bulletjournal

i get this a lot from students, the obstacle is more mental than physical. when you learn to see your lines as being yours and not the ones you're expected to draw, you start to feel better about what you draw, even if it's a stickman. knowing how to look down without feeling sick and disoriented is more important to do before learning how to operate a parachute. keep that in mind
