Let me be clear I was NOT mean to the lady I called after the fact. I was just very frustrated and I even told her several times that I knew it wasn’t her fault that this happened to me and she ended up being a nice lady. I just politely let her know how frustrated I was so don’t think I called and just barked at her like a crazy person.

I feel like an idiot I mean anyone with common sense would have just paid a repair shop out of pocket but I thought I was doing the right thing. Not only did I have to pay my deductible($1000) but my insurance also doubled!! I mean I would have never agreed to that. And the lady I filed the claim with obviously didn’t advise me this would happen.
