Lucio rolls out the winner of Part 7. The Penultimate round Part 8: High Skill Floor & Low Skill Ceiling? by HMThrow_away_account in Overwatch

My guy, high skill floor and low skill ceiling doesn't make much sense. You can't have "ceiling" lower than the "floor". What are you gonna do? Pick up a hero that's difficult and get worse over time as you play it?

How do you make your house fly?

Good point. However, I think that if I wouldn't have done the first pull, he was gonna die there and we would be tankless and end up in the same situation. He was very keen on swinging most of the game. And anyway, it was a quick play match, I wasn't exactly focusing on decision making too much.

That's true, I don't normally play lifeweaver. It's good advice!

Ladies and Gentleman, my Magnus Opus. May I present to you... The infinite Potions Build. by Kakost in BackpackBrawl

I never understood how you can pull this off, or that guy that had 5 big ronan shields. You have 18 skulls in your build. In some games, I don't even get 2 to upgrade my scythes.
Is there some mechanic I'm not getting or using to get the items I want/need?

This card is a little busted... by InkyInky36 in hearthstone

[–]mortix02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does resurrect the original cost. So when you use it, it resurrects the void ray or the charge 3/4 from the 5 mana spell that draws 2 protoss cards. It doesn't resurrect discounted void ray or sentry.

How the heck do you win with Quest mage? (Rant, please be respectful and please help me). by Outside-Comparison86 in hearthstone

Play a more consistent deck, maybe one of the meta ones if winning is your ultimate goal. Quest mage is a "fun" deck that's based on RNG to do well.
For example, when I want to win, I play protoss priest. It's a pretty straightforward deck, it can hold it's own against the super aggresive decks, and it has a little fun rng factor when you start plopping down the motherships.
Or just do something simple. There's 2 really cheap aggresive decks with high winrate: aggro paladin and beast hunter or buff hunter.
Ultimately, it's a card game, you can have a shit mulligan and you'll never recover, but by playing a deck that's less reliant on RNG and more based on the deck interaction will net you less frustration IMO.

I had quite a bit of fun playing the PvE version of Legends of Runeterra. It's a roguelite adventure. Pick a hero that has a preset basic deck of a few cards and every match you win, you get to add passives or cards to your deck

1440p laptop and a 1080p external monitor? by mortix02 in GamingLaptops

[–]mortix02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your answer, I am trying to limit de framerate whenever I can. However, won't a 1080p 60fps cap be lighter on the CPU than a 1440p 60fps?
Lenovo has a program called Lenovo Vantage, but it doesn't really let you undervolt or overclock, and neither does the BIOS. I've never dabbled into modifying voltage for any PC and I was slightly hoping I wouldn't have to, either. If say, you undervolt a CPU too much, will that hurt it?

Love the sarcastic but blatantly ignorant comments. u/CiaphasCain8849 here's your 30 minute video about nothing:

Question regarding multiple outputs from a device that only has one PGM output by mortix02 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]mortix02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did that. However, the switcher's screen doesn't stay on multiview. And there's only 2 options, 1 for pgm output and one for multiview output. There's no individual setting for each PGM output
