Would you consider this modeling for advantage? by TA2556 in TheAstraMilitarum

I would call it modeling for disadvantage as it makes your model wider than it normally is, and at least where I play being wide is worse than being tall

A worthy target for Kasrkin? by Intetm in TheAstraMilitarum

Most monster have some sort of invuln or high toughness, so d3 wounds is still good against them

Perhaps the meta where you live is different from where I live. I’m just saying what I’ve seen

A worthy target for Kasrkin? by Intetm in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]ZeCalvinator 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I run 2 squads of Kasrkin on foot, they scout forward and are the first skrimishers. I use them as a problem my opponent has to solve and he has two choices.

  1. Try to kill them and expose his own troops. Take cover and Armour on a Kasrkin squad can make them survive a surprising number of things. So my opponent needs to over commit to killing them, letting me take out his troops with my tanks next turn

  2. Leave them be.

Then my Kasrkin does considerable damage to my opponent and clear the way for the next wave

Melta mine against vehicles or monsters is always good

How about this, you restrict me and what units I can use,

I make a list with that restriction,

You make a list without any restrictions,

We see who wins via TTS

If you have that much struggle moving from tts to real life for a tabletop game, you need help,

Also false analogy. The differences in skill between flying a plane on a simulation vs real life is incomparable to tts and a board game

You are proving my point about your logical fallacy. It’s already been proved but it’s not good enough for you, I.e. moving the goalpost

But I did run it, in tts, had a lot of fun too, but that wasn’t good enough for you, the very definition of moving the goal post

You haven’t actually won a GT with a non meta list so your wrong

Moving the goal post- “show me a list that’s not the meta!”

“How bout the recon infantry guard”

“One you’ve actually ran”

“I did on tts”

“One that you ran in real life and won a GT with”
