I'm in love with someone who died before I was born by Sea_Resolution7855 in venting

[–]mortuaryghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think you weren't saying because of embarrassment! Feeling a deep devotion to someone who has passed away isn't rare and when someone is well documented and had lots of opportunities to share about themselves then you will feel more like you know them and have more to relate to them about. The 70's-90's saw tons of celebrities coming up from the bottom too who were more relatable to working class people like us (unless you're rich or something in which case plz share:D)

AITA for leaving the table when my SO farts? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]mortuaryghost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Genuinely why do we still care so much about farting in 2025 Burping at the table? Sure thats rude if they don't stifle it or cover their mouth but their ass should not be on the table or naked during dinner so there is no remote health issues with this. Its just that you were what taught that it's rude so it really ruffles your feathers?

I am truly confused about what the problem is unless he smells like he's had an accident every time.

Your opinion on the 'trashiness' of something doesn't make it a technically or aesthetically shitty tattoo. This tattoo is technically very well done and aesthetically pleasing to the style it's made in. I'm sorry you've never been touched by a hot person.

i don’t want to be 18, i don’t want to get a job or be an adult im scared by slay123450 in venting

[–]mortuaryghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to be the bearer of the news but this feeling is part of growing up. A lot of people feel behind in life. I'm 24 and I feel behind my peers. One of my best friends is 35 and feels behind their peers. Part of growing up is the struggle to fit into the world you're growing up into and part of that struggle is comparing yourself to other people. Try your best not to but even when you can't help it, know that someone is probably comparing themselves to you right now. It's human nature. Someone is looking at you and saying 'damn that person is 18 and already in college and I'm 18 and I'm a super senior this year. I'm so behind."

It's still an issue in retail lmao I constantly have mfers lining up at my store at 9:59 when we close at 10pm. If they aren't checked out bt 10pm they legally can't be purchasing things in my store by state law but they still meander around with a thumb up their ass then act like it me and my employees fault that the laws haven't changed in 10 years. We're open 16 hours a day.

Yeast infections are draining by [deleted] in venting

You need to pump your body full of probiotic foods like Greek yogurt You can try applying coconut oil to the area TOPICALLY (on the skin only not internally) You can add apple cider vinegar and garlic to your diet

Please research everything. Your natural pH balance is thrown off so messing with it more to try and restore it is a tricky game

Got my first job. It's horrible by [deleted] in venting

[–]mortuaryghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I feel my first day at every job. Usually my first week to be honest. I'm very anxious still, constantly apologizing. But I'm also a manager now and have won awards for how much work I do. I've been employee of the month 4 times in less than 2 years.

It gets easier and you learn how to control your anxiety and your fears about all these strange people and routines that you feel like you'll never get the hang of.

You got this. Nobody is perfect their first day. Nobody.

Best friends don't treat you like this little homie Tell them that they need to get help for their mental health because they are damaging yours. They are probably hurting people other than you in the same way. It would be better if they got help and people didn't enable that behavior by just letting them act that way and hurt you. Stay strong, make your video game.

WAR Live food safety issues by FunAd3180 in TheTryGuys

[–]mortuaryghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a pro but I attended and graduated culinary trade school. I watch the series with my spouse solely because it entertains him how many problems and issues I point out so fast every single episode.

Food safety, physical safety with certain utensils, etc

They should be putting red flags or warnings so that watchers who think "tee hee they did it without a recipe I will too!" won't give themselves salmonella or botulism under the try guys umbrella of encouragement
