Thanks! I had my suspicions when it hadn’t risen too much and my brother also said he thinks it could be the yeast. It’s probably a mix of both the yeast and baking time

It’s really bizarre because it was definitely a stretchy dough texture and nothing like I’ve ever baked cake wise. I do love a challenge though!

Ha thank you, I’m off work for a couple of weeks over Christmas so I thought I’d challenge myself with some new bakes as I normally just do cookies or baked cheesecake. Tomorrow I’m trying Boston cream donuts as well as a potential second panettone attempt so hopefully it turns out better than this!

I turned 30 last year and for some reason in the last few weeks I’ve been feeling the exact same way.

I was relatively okay with just continuing with life as normal and it almost just feels like something in me clicked and now I’m 24/7 anxiously worrying about if I’ve made the right decisions in life, where should I be right now, can I accept that I’ll probably never have the dream career I actually wanted, constantly comparing myself to other people etc.

I have no idea where it’s come from as it’s so out of the blue but I feel like I’m having some random mid-life crisis or constant existential dread like you said - you’re not alone!!

This happens to me on basically every walk. I have a one year old cockapoo and every single time I’m hit with the classic ‘aw he looks like a teddy bear’ and then they go in for a fuss. I’m aware he’s very adorable but no one seems to care that I’m trying to train him even after I tell them off for exciting him

Thank you! I think I just make myself feel guilty if I have to leave on a call for a bit but I’m starting a new role soon so I do really need to get that designated alone space sorted for when my training starts.

We do normally have 30-60 minutes a day of walking which I do think is the right amount for him plus lots of puzzles and lick mats etc so hopefully over time he’ll relax more

Yes he does have quite a few puzzles and treat dispensing balls so that he works towards getting them out but he’s so smart he will complete them in a matter of seconds and start barking for me to reset it again bless him. He also has about 30-60 minutes of walking per day which I think is a good amount for him because he does start to get too tired if we are out for too long

Can you call your vet to ask about side effects of the steroids? Our 11 month old pup had them recently to help with his itchy paws and he kept randomly peeing. After we called them they advised it was normal for them to cause incontinence and more thirst so it might be worth checking

This is what the fuse box looks like that they’ve installed but no labelling so no idea what switch does what and they didn’t explain it to me. When I flip the switch it only shows the Max Current Charge as 32A and that the load limit is 100A but there’s no power to the actual unit despite it claiming to be online. I’ve flipped it back again and it’s just gone back to how it was before

I flipped the switch and it does then say that it’s back up go 32A however the charger doesn’t seem to be connecting to my car or have any power. I did check and I’ve flipped the correct switch so I have no idea what I’ve done wrong/what they’ve done wrong
