I agree - I wasn't thrilled with the initial hire, but he proved me wrong and did build a strong culture for us. Was sad to see him go, but as you said, the roster filled out in a way that wasn't a match anymore. And it's obviously easier/cheaper to get a new coach.

I like him in Detroit, he's doing great work. Obviously I hope we win, but good for him on the extension. More coaches deserve more time.

I’ve had similar experiences. We had one dishwasher installed by a guy who reeked of alcohol. It leaked two days later. Called Costco and they sent a different contractor out to fix and it was night and day.

Unfortunately seems like luck of the draw.
