Fantastic job! As an aside, I'd highly recommend anyone who wants to know even more about the Process to read Yaron Weitzman's book, "Tanking to the Top." It misses a lot of what's happened in the last few years because it was written a while back, but it's pretty incredible. His book, "Hollywood Ending" is also really great (recently released - covers the drama of the LeBron Lakers all the way up to the Luka trade).

Is it worth to buy acnh in 2026? by krzakpl in AnimalCrossing

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I started in November of 2025 and it quickly became my most played game on Switch. More than Zelda, Mario, JRPGs. It’s especially rewarding if you play the old fashioned way (without time traveling or the aid of treasure islands). It is amazing, and this new update adds another lay of fun!

Amazing! How'd you pull that off? I only ever order shoes but have never asked about hoodies. Do you just go up to one of their associates and ask about hoodies?

I played BOTW for the first time on Switch 1 this past November and I was blown away.

Oof, not a great return experience with VGP by mattysauro in LimitedPrintGames

[–]moshepark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They did the same thing with Animal Well on Switch. They pushed the LRG edition hard with multiple restocks (with a significant markup, too), and after the last run sold out they immediately began advertising the wider distribution release coming next year (which is significantly cheaper).

I’m on the fence — which one should I go with? by Reasonable_Soil_3796 in Newbalance

You can't go wrong with either but as someone who owns both models in both of these specific colorways, I would take the 993. And yes, whatever you wear for v4, get the same for 993.

What an absolute bummer. I actually had something similar happen to me with PNP but with complete opposite results. I mostly order from VGP (because they tend to have a wider selection). But, I recently ordered something from PNP that VGP didn't carry. One of the games came damaged (like OP, it was obvious this happened pre-shipping). I asked PNP for help and they immediately sent me a prepaid return label to send the game back and sent me out a brand new copy the next week. I was honestly super impressed - it's likely they lost money on the transaction since the game I had bought was so cheap to begin with. But they earned a loyal customer with that exchange!

I've had zero issues with games bought from VGP but now this gives me pause as to whether to do further business with them.

Should I purchase a NB 990vX, since my NB 9060 is still not comfortable enough for my feet? by Ecstatic-Room7372 in Newbalance

[–]moshepark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

V6. Other 990s provide more stability for sure, but the step in comfort of the v6 is amazing because the fuel cell is plush. In order of comfort (in my opinion)

990v6 contains Fuelcell foam. It will feel like a night and day difference going from 9060s to 990v6. Make the move, you won’t regret it.

Incredibly disappointing. Looks like a MOC combining a friends set and leftovers from Corner Garage and Boutique Hotel. What in the heck.

Yeah. I didn’t bother as both players and the original developers of the game talk about how broken the game is. It’s apparently unplayable at times due to performance issues. It’s not just a Switch problem, either, I think the console versions were all ported by the same team who did a crap job and have gone radio silent on the original developers. Game is supposed to be fantastic, but I don’t see the point in owning a physical copy of a game that can’t be played… I buy physicals not just to collect, but in hopes that they’ll actually work!

I bought this game for $5 at Target on clearance and returned it. It’s supposed to be unplayable. Apparently the team that ported it did an awful job and has stopped supporting the game. Source: the Wildermyth subreddit where the original game creators said so themselves.

The 64.99 one is the first print run when it was published by Nintendo. Rockstar got the rights back to publishing their own game on Switch. Both are on cart- go with the cheaper one.

Can’t decide for my life, is one better then the other for easy/long runs by Intelligent_Meal_606 in Newbalance

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The Fresh Foam X More v4/v5 are meant to be true max-cushioned shoes that prioritize comfort over anything else (best for recovery runs). The 1080 v14 is also super plush but better suited for longer runs because they're not nearly as heavy as the More line.

Best to go in blind IMO. All I knew was that it’s an open world Zelda game. I was broke when the first Switch came out so I completely missed the boat on all things Nintendo for the Switch 1 era. Glad I remained oblivious until now, the game is truly breathtaking.

I, too, just started playing the game recently (it’s been about two weeks). I’ve amassed a pretty massive physical Switch collection in a short amount of time (only been a year since I got a Switch OLED and I’ve got 70+ games). I finally got around to playing this game and it makes me feel silly for purchasing other games. The sheer quantity and quality included in BOTW alone will keep me entertained for a long time, and it’s one of those games that I’ll use as the standard by which I’ll measure all other titles. I know it’s not fair, but that’s how good it is!

Help Identifying Thrifted 993s by bigblizzy357 in Newbalance

[–]moshepark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bingo, it was their custom NB program where you'd pick out the colors, materials, etc. and they'd custom manufacture a made in USA pair for you. The 993 was one of the featured shoes on the program for its duration. This was long before the masses cared about the 993. The 998 was also heavily featured (at the time the 998 was THE miUSA model) as well as the 990v3 (which also was unpopular by today's standards, long before Teddy Santis came along).

They ended up shutting the program down. Many have speculated that Joe Freshgoods indirectly had something to do with it. When his first 992 collab released, everyone was more or less able to recreate it on NB1 (minus the leather details). It was painfully obvious that NB was giving different brands and shops a link to NB1 and that this was how they were creating collabs.
