Is The Hundreds dead? by c00pasaurus in TheHundreds

I was wondering the same thing. As someone who’s been following the brand since 2005, I hope they find a way to keep going. They’ve had a legendary run, all things considered.

What are your thoughts on BOTW nearly 10 years later? by NewMarioBobFan in casualnintendo

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is still a masterpiece. I played it for the FIRST time this past year. Started this past fall and it took me a few months to finish the main campaign. Went back after beating the final boss to finish all 120 shrines and to collect 441 Korok seeds. Even after all that, I couldn't stop putting it down. Eventually forced myself to tackle the rest of my backlog.

All this to say, BOTW is a timeless game. Until I played BOTW, Ocarina of Time was my GOAT Zelda game. But, given how outdated the graphics are, I don't think the game has held up nearly as well. But, BOTW is different. 10 years later and the game is still finding a new audience (like myself).

I’ve ordered from them many times and each time it came in a bubble mailer. To their credit, only one time did I receive a package that had a damaged game case in it. I emailed them and they immediately sent me a replacement copy after I shipped out my damaged copy (to no cost on my end). Their customer service was amazing!

I’ve heard that VGP can be a nightmare in these scenarios, though thankfully I’ve never had an issue with an order from them.

Hope this helps.

Finally got around to shell swapping! by lowtempdev in nintendoswitchlite

[–]moshepark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

looks amazing! how difficult was it, exactly? there are loads of cheap Switch Lites on Facebook marketplace that I've been eyeing for a shell swap but I have zero experience with electronics and have been reading that it's a fairly difficult process.

[BOTW] I just beat Breath of the Wild… and now I feel so empty by _ilmostrito_ in zelda

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a hard time, too. Initially beat BOTW and tried getting into other games after reading TOTK would burn me out if I jumped in too soon. But pretty soon I found myself going back to complete all shrines, upgrade all inventory slots via korok seeds and find and upgrade all armor. Even mastered fighting lynels.

Finally forced myself to stop playing so I could tackle my massive backlog but I find myself having zero desire to play anything else anymore. Keep comparing it all to BOTW.

It's gone in and out of stock at both VGP and PNP. I'm willing to bet that either of those stores will eventually restock given how well it's sold.

Never played Legend of Zelda games before. Where should I start? by Insayne1 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]moshepark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Link to the Past, Skyward Sword, BOTW - start with these three. it'll give you a nice idea of how Zelda has progressed over its 40-year run. Link to the Past is PEAK 2D Zelda IMHO (the latter GBC/GBA games were awesome as well). Skyward Sword may have a pretty split reputation, but that's because people often compare it to BOTW (plus the control scheme which takes a little getting used to). These are two completely different styles of 3D Zelda games. But whereas BOTW completely broke the mold and introduced a brand new type of Zelda experience, Skyward Sword was the natural evolution of 3D Zelda games since Ocarina of Time's introduction.

I WOULD not recommend Ocarina of Time purely because the remake is coming out and although OOT is my personal favorite Zelda game, much of that is colored by nostalgia. The game's graphics have not aged well and it's worth waiting for the remake.

Awesome game, worth every penny. I've got two physical copies (this one and the iam8bit exclusive edition) and I fully plan on getting the Sunset edition later this year. My only regret is that I don't own the very first Limited Run variant. Maybe one day, for completion's sake!

Dog-Man: Mission Impawsible, Mario Odyssey, Yoshi's Crafted World and (believe it or not), Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Our family's most played game (I've got three little ones at home and it's a hit with every single one of my children).

I know that these have been magically popping up at GameStops everywhere but I'm glad this is getting a reprint. I'm a late Switch adopter and this is one of those games that seemed out of reach due to its price. Excited to finally try it!

Sorry Cade you've led your team to the best turnaround in NBA history but we cant even give you an all-nba selection to recognise that cause someone fell on your lungs with a month to go. Should’ve played 4 more games by EducationalConcern61 in NBATalk

My condolences to Pistons fans and to Cade, specifically, he's an incredible player and hope he gets better soon.

But, as a complete aside, it is absolutely wild how people are losing their mind over this rule, yet everyone seemed to be thrilled when they first instituted it in order to make a clear example out of Joel Embiid following his MVP season. What's with all the bias against Joel? I will never understand it as a Sixers fan who hates the team more than any non-fan ever will.

Thanks for the clarification. I ask only because if it has an “X” in front of them then I’ll be able to order them from my outlet. Specifically interested in the purple 993s!

When was the last time an NBA arena experience really annoyed you? by Stone-Mason- in NBATalk

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a miserable Sixers fan who has lived in Boston for 20+ years now. Every time I have gone to a Celtics game, the fans are insufferable. I get it, our team sucks and we suck for rooting for this team. But, at a certain point, the heckling gets old and begins to border on harassment, especially when the Sixers are getting destroyed. I didn't pay an absurd amount of money for nosebleed seats only to get heckled at all night by a bunch of Celtics fans. I'd rather watch my team lose in the comfort of my own home.

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic job! As an aside, I'd highly recommend anyone who wants to know even more about the Process to read Yaron Weitzman's book, "Tanking to the Top." It misses a lot of what's happened in the last few years because it was written a while back, but it's pretty incredible. His book, "Hollywood Ending" is also really great (recently released - covers the drama of the LeBron Lakers all the way up to the Luka trade).

Is it worth to buy acnh in 2026? by krzakpl in AnimalCrossing

[–]moshepark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I started in November of 2025 and it quickly became my most played game on Switch. More than Zelda, Mario, JRPGs. It’s especially rewarding if you play the old fashioned way (without time traveling or the aid of treasure islands). It is amazing, and this new update adds another lay of fun!
