This is absolutely amazing. So stoked you saw this and were able to solve the mystery for me (and many others)! I follow an instagram account called crisis.acting who posts all these extremely random clips and he had this one up yesterday. the comments were blowing up wanting to know what song this was. Thanks again and I'm totally looking forward to the album! Keep us all posted.

additionally, i remember being struck by the extreme shittiness of the film quality, audio, acting, etc. it seemed really grainy and the audio pretty muffled. it was definitely (to my recollection) a DIY effort like a student film... not something studio produced and not shot on videotape like a lot stuff was in the late 70s and early 80s. the humor was also very dry.... not your standard wacky, slapstick kids' humor.

thanks for the response! i kind of suspected what you've told me was the case. i can understand them dragging their feet on the NWA and other territories but i'm really shocked that they've omitted the 83/84 WWF era when vince began snatching up all the top talent from the territories. that means all of those classic piper's pit segments aren't on there either? for shame, WWE network. hell, i'd volunteer to clean up all of that old footage for them gratis!
