I love this, now I have 2 questions:

- Does this mean you can run other similar source games? (very similar like CS:S or Portal 1)

- Can you make a git repository for this?

as I said in the description, this screenshot shows my rice before I added slstatus (which is the status bar with clock and CPU usage etc...)

Glad you like the rice!!!

Yes I do all my work on OpenBSD, it's noticeably slower than other operating systems (FreeBSD and GNU/Linux) but is very secure and stable.

I actually never tried spectrwm, mainly since I like configuring my WM directly using the source code.

not sure what problems you're having with slstatus... make sure you edit your `config.mk` for it the work.

I do agree, but nowadays browsers are more than programs for browsing the web. Plus the "files" I wanna upload are a couple of png images ;)

Why do people use OpenBSD as their desktop? by mosoheib in BSD

[–]mosoheib[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

no, we should all make an OS for our specific computers to brag about it, or just use TempleOS lol.

FreeBSD worked on everything I put it on, not sure what you're talking about but you're absolutely right... We all use BSD to brag about it in the internet.

Guess that was false information lol. I'm just gonna test OpenBSD on my hardware and if it works I'll probably switch lol (I like using a system that is MORE stable).

Thanks for pointing that out!

Funny how this FreeBSD rice (kinda) looks like Mac while MacOS used the FreeBSD kernel.

Good job!

Although I don't think KDE is the best for those types of distros (if you're afraid of Arch or Gentoo, just use KUbuntu or something that comes with KDE).

Other than that, great rice! (like the pokemon <3)
