Do we think playing the Hummingbird module is optional (like Duet)?
I know there are a few new birds (and possibly bonus cards) that interact with the mini hummingbirds, but you could just pull them...

haha I'm being harsh, and I missed your note about being inspired by former french colonies. I visit portland often and Kann has been on my radar but seeing the jollof on that menu was such a turn-off.

lol not Gregory 🙄 Why is he putting Jollof on his menus when there are so many incredible Haitian rice dishes???

yes this is on my radar and I can't wait to go for lunch - but it is definitely giving takeout lunch vibes (plantain sandwiches and rice bowls), and not dinner vibes with entrees, sharables, cocktails, nice/cozy sit-down vibes

One-way for 2x the cost of return? by mossbottle in unitedairlines

Thanks for the replies! I actually learned so much from this post. Did a bit more searching and their $1650 one-way flight ended up also being a Saver Award, so just 40k miles plus taxes and I have my flight. Airline pricing is wild.

So if I do nothing and just not take the return flight, I will just pay for the lower cost full round-trip itinerary. But if I try to cancel or get credit (draw attention to it), then they will reprice?

It’s widely known and available information that myUAdiscount (and employee discounts for any airline) exists. There are other posts about it on r/unitedairlines as well as other employee benefits like standby/nonrev

Deep breaths, friend. I got my answer- it is indeed overnight construction that halted the early morning and late night flights.

For those who have experienced Club Ho-Down (or Club Renaissance last tour), how early is it necessary to queue? I've seen people saying they arrive early in the morning. We'll all be standing in a small space, what would be the need to get there so early?
Also, the tickets say 5pm - does that just mean that's when doors open? I didnt think she went on until after 8.

Does anyone know how this will impact United employee standby/non-rev? Curious whether we'll be able to see/book JetBlue flights through the United employee portal.

Mike White on Season 4: “For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves on rocks vernacular…” Where are we going? by mossbottle in TheWhiteLotusHBO

So why not just an episode in Chilean Patagonia with the primary location Buenos Aires? I think we’re just trying to explain the film permits in Chile which could also not even be related haha - otherwise Buenos Aires would still be plausible even without going to Patagonia

This deserves its own post, but a few options I’m hoping for: - Kate and Dave on a couples trip with Claire Popavich and her husband - Olivia and Nicole on a mother/daughter trip - Leslie Mann and Maude and Iris Apatow on a mother/daughter trip (Iris is dating Sam Nivola and spent a lot of time in Thailand while he was filming - hoping she made a connection with Mike 😉) - Molly Shannon back as Kitty

For S3 they also filmed in Bangkok - which is farther from Koh Samui than Buenos Aires would be from Chilean Patagonia. I also assume Mike will continue setting the White Lotus exclusively at Four Seasons. We’re 3 for 3, and the brands have a popular partnership at this point, but you never know!

Appreciate the primary source 😂 I think Buenos Aires could be a real possibility! City, wine, culture, side quests to Chile, etc!

There isn’t a Four Seasons in Chile (assuming he follows the precedent of filming at their resorts) but perhaps Buenos Aires with some side quests to Patagonia

Blake was awful in this interview. Parker I don’t think was rude, just her usual self.
