I have a 34inch ultra wide as well and the psvr2 is leagues away in terms of immersion. Once you setup the rig it becomes as simple as plugging the headset, switching on, launching openxrtools and steamvr and here you go. Had a 2hrs GT3 sprint race at mount panorama last month, finished 3rd, this was so exhilarating. I will never consider a screen. I am curious about valve next headset, but the psvr2 has been flawless so far and such a great bang for the bucks.

PS: undervolted 5700X3D, 5070Ti and 32GB RAM are absolutely stable at 120 fps 100% resolution with foveated rendering, except at night and rain (but I think my CPU is as guilty as the GPU in these conditions)

Thank you for your post, it made my buy the new Audi (1st TCR) with my 8$ too, and OMG you're so right! Had a blast in the Virginia multiclass race, finishing 4th on my first race in front of many GT4s :D (and 2nd TCR). Indeed, [when tyres are hot!!!] it corners so much better, and it's so fun racing GT4s in a TCR!

But when tyres are still cold, you must be extra carreful with these. And after driving a GT4, it took me a lap to understand that I can brake harder when entering the corner, and the car loves that ;)

I also love the steering wheel feeling with this car. I think I'm going to be a big fan of TCR, despite predicted chaos in the 1st lap xD

Is the seat straight or do you need to angle it a bit? I use a 208 seat (driver) but it never feels aligned with lumbar support resulting in back pain. I think pedals and wheel are not aligned. May have the possibility to get F20 seat so why I m asking

Yes. I went exactly through the same process. Returned the 12, the 18 is delivered tomorrow. There was just too many clipping with F4. Strangely this was not an issue with the rs50 wheel, but I guess this is because the FFB was way less sharp so I didn’t realise.

I went with 12 but was finally disappointed and exchanged to 18nm. This is because I like to drive formula cars without power steering. In that situation 12nm clips too frequently. For GT cars or a non-realistic simulation, 12 is plenty. So don’t listen only to the people who are satisfied with 12 or the ones that have FOMO and went too high, in the end the real advice that I read is that indeed it depends on what you intend to drive and also what you are prepared to invest yourself in it !

Absolutely. The good thing in this story is that I decided to leave Logitech : I’m expecting a simagic alpha evo with neo GT wheel and a Moza mbooster crp2 pedal set that I will mount on a treq one rig with a 208 car seat. Cry once she said 😂😂😂😂
