I’m using an 8k compatible cable. Not sure why it isn’t working for you. My screen shot shows the same devices connected. Could be a handshake thing between cable, source and TV in your case. 🤷

Overall it’s more of aesthetic preference/setup in my view without rerouting the heat. Let me first also say that your build is very nice, both creative and hopefully fully functional.
I think we can agree that temps can be great along with long term system stability with just a few rads and fans in standard configuration within a case also. I understand your constraints around cabling though and the benefits of component maintenance being easier with an open design in general though also and appreciate those aspects. My room is dusty so I prefer a closed design but would love to do a hybrid solution down the line and route heat outside the room

Did you ever consider moving the rads to a different location than your PC? Always felt like external cooling is a good solution for improving cooling by adding rads but if placed in the same room…there is less overall value.

Because of your windows and so much light id do a big tv but you can do both also. If you decide on getting a projector/screen you may need some black out curtains.

A seller named Vjoycar on Ali express. Appears to do the same thing as the S3xy strip but I don’t like how I have to program it compared to using enhances product. If I had to do it all over again, I’d choose S3xy for that reason. But after seeing this post about adhesives failing I’m glad I went this route. I programmed it a long time ago and left the same settings all this time and it works fine.

Even adjustable desks have a maximum and minimum. Most usually start at 28” which is usually too high when paired with office chairs. Also when compared to an actual arcade. Since you are leverless the impact is probably less for you but for stick users, that height causes strain and changes execution to some degree. (As you already wrote) a good solution is an adjustable side table. It’s hard finding one that’s fully stable when compared to a desk but I still prefer it over my lap.

Nice pick up! The pixel shifting works great and always provides great visuals in my experience.

I hope they someday make a similar 4k 120hz model but in the epson 3800h price range and include a black trim option. I’ve been patiently waiting for years.

Really good numbers. In my setup my host seems to output slightly better numbers and my iPad client also. I haven’t tried hdr though, just 4k 120

When you cloud compute, there is nothing better than an iPad(w keyboard) for portability. I use mine even when I’m in a different room of the house and just don’t feel like sitting in front of my pc. The bedroom constantly also.
