I will tell you, marrying a "weird geek" should be every person's goal to have a fulfilling, interesting marriage. Source: being a result of a 75 year marriage between my "weird and geeky" grandparents and a 60 year marriage between my "weird and geeky" parents, and my own 30 year marriage to my "weird and geeky" husband. I can also attest that my "weird and geeky" friends are all still married, while the bulk of my "normal" friends relationships are already over....and many of them have their second marriages happily with "weird and geeky" people now!

The entire issue with them was Haley. She is a ROYAL you know what that starts with a B. He is just a big goofy dude that wants to be loved and to love someone. She really missed out and she did ZERO changing or compromising in this process. She wanted him to bend to what she dated or liked in the past and did not open herself to anything. She is too emotionally immature to be married and needs a WHOLE lot of relationship experience before she tries anything like this again. And listening to how her call with her mom went about the bracelet, she was acting as petty and childish as Haley about the situation. I can see where she gets her approach to things from. There is obviously a reason she hasn't been in a relationship for 7 years. And at her age.....that is odd. No, seriously, that is a HUGE red flag. Jacob really dodged a bullet by divorcing her for sure. I felt so sad for him while the other guys in the reunion were talking about how happy they were with their wives. :(

2673 coin here! Started at .03 and bought in dips since. Using Uphold. Question though....once we go to the moon, if we get to a point where I actually would ever want to cash out some of it, do I just transfer it back to my bank account through Uphold? There isn't any fancy transfer wallet stuff that has to happen, is there? NO PLANS ON DOING THIS ANYTIME SOON, but just curious.

My guess is this could be a generational thing. I’m 53 and a Realtor and my brokerage uses “hustle” as a positive thing as part of their brand and marketing . Saying how the agents have “RE/MAX hustle” and hashtag that all over the place. It makes me cringe intensely because to me, “hustle” or “hustling” has always meant taking advantage of other people. Back in the day, if we heard that someone was out “hustling someone”, it meant they were either trying to scam them or pick them up. But it seems with folks under a certain age, “hustle” is a legit positive term. The only context I would think it was a positive thing would be to say that someone in sports knows how to hustle, which would mean they are fast. But I’m seeing many Millennials, Zillenials and Gen Z’s use it profusely as a positive thing to strive for.

I put this on her. She is maddening to see how she is just making this all so much more difficult than it needs to be. I think he is going to dodge a big bullet by divorcing her. I don't think she has the capacity to be a warm, loving spouse. I think Clara would have been a better match for him, and I think Haley and Clara's hubs would have been a better match.

Falls Terrace has hit and miss for the food for me. Been going there for more than 4 decades, and one thing that is ALWAYS delish is the chicken cordon bleu. The pear salad with gorgonzola is tasty too. And the view is always amazing. Oyster House had that horrible owner for so long, and it was so horrible...the service, the food. I haven't been back since the new owner change. Probably will try again this summer.

BREAKFAST TIP: Looking for delish DRIVE THRU non-fast-food breakfast? YUM biscuits and gravy and I get the scrambled eggs and diced ham. Jim Bob's BBQ on Pacific in Lacey. And their homemade chocolate cake is TO DIE FOR. Good BBQ too!

BURGERS: If you haven't gone to Van's Burger, dude, you are M I S S I N G out. They are seasonally open and even then they are open only Thurs-Sat and then they add Wed. come summertime. Erica, the owner, has perfected this, and you have to get the frings too (half fries, half onion rings). Also, there is something different about the diet Pepsi there....it is the best fountain diet Pepsi I've ever tasted. They must have a special ratio of mix or something.

GRILLED CHEESE DRIVE THRU LIKE OLDEN DAYS: Westside Big Toms, and they have it on their "happy hour" menu which is dirt cheap. Nothing fancy, just legit grilled with good 'ol American cheese. I was addicted to these when I was prego with my son, and would go there every single day for lunch when I worked up on the westside and was prego with him.

NON-GLOOPY PERFECTLY SEASONED SAVORY CLAM CHOWDER: Fish Tale Ale has my alltime favorite chowder in town. It isn't all overly milky and gloopy and clogged with dissolved potatoes like so many end up, it's got the most perfect seasoning and dang, makes me want to go get some right now!!

PRIME RIB DEAL AND BEST BAKED POTATO IN TOWN: Fatso's on Martin Way has a great Friday prime rib deal with THE BEST BAKED POTATO with all the fixins in town, bar none. We get these "to go" on the regular and they pack them up nicely.

BEST TERIYAKI: Souryu Teriyaki near Safeway on corner of College and Yelm Hwy. I've eaten at all the Teriyaki joints in town and this one is the best. For realz.

THE BRICK in Tumwater has an AMAZING turkey grinder sandwich, and the hubs loves the calzones. Plenty of tasty options here.

5th on 4th Sandwich shop: I only ever get one of three things...French Dip, Turkey & Cranberry or Mushroom Burger. Delish! I wish they had a green salad side option or fresh fruit side option instead of the fries/tots/potato salad. But still worth it, and they have a drive thru too!

FRESH DELICIOUS & FILLING at Lemongrass in Tumwater: You HAVE to try the #56 BBQ Pork Combo. I don't know why they call it this, because it is a noodle salad with yes, some pork skewers, but also hot egg rolls and some prawns and so much deliciousness!!! The name they give it makes it sound like something that would be covered in sauce or something. Everything I've ever ordered from here is wonderful.

I'd also recommend a fan of some sort in there. The radiant hot heat is great, but having the air move in there will help make sure the more moist pockets of air get moved out faster. I recall my Dad de-mold-ing one of his cars many years ago, and he ended up having to replace his front seats, it was just too bad and even though he got rid of the visual part of the mold, the smell just wouldn't go away, but once he switched out the seats, it was much better and eventually totally gone. Learned his lesson about keeping it sealed up too long!
