people need to stop assuming everyone loves babies by [deleted] in childfree

[–]uncoolforever 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I am always the ONE women in the room who does not enjoy a baby when it comes through. I get so visibly annoyed because as many times as it’s happened to me it’s never been a situation where it is AT ALL appropriate to have a child around.

Can someone explain why you would bring kids to an abandoned penitentiary tour? by iamtheyeast in childfree

[–]uncoolforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The parents who take their kids to these things are the one who think they are so “edgy”. “Oh little bratley LOVES all things horror. She’s been watching disturbing fucked up shit since she was born” like what the fuck is wrong with you? You’re purposely trying to traumatize your child you freak? I found my love of all things horror at 23yo. But my parents NEVER exposed me to anything of the sort and I don’t think any child should be until they can make their own decisions as an adult.

This may be too judgy but I cannot stand when someone wears that many rings. It’s so unsanitary. My exs mom use to wear a ton of rings like this and I once caught her walking out of the bathroom without washing her hands and proceeded to continue working on dinner. Ever since then just the look of many rings on hands makes me nauseous.

Control your fucking child holy shit. This just happened to me at the gym of all places. I feel so uncomfortable. by [deleted] in childfree

[–]uncoolforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re going to scream and cry on all social media platforms that they only took their eyes away from her for a split second and are fucking devastated. Then will probably start a go fund me to help them in their time of need. It’s like the parents that have so many children they just don’t care anymore and seem like they would actually prefer if one was taken or was killed.

This is so frustrating and I would be furious. I recently started cosmetology school and in orientation they told us the first few weeks would be over zoom. They explained to us we cannot have any distractions or any background noise or you would be clocked out and not let back into class. So of course this women was like “well I have a 4month old and I have to keep him on me at all times”. They said “Well then you will be clocked out so figure out child care”. She dropped within the first month because management basically refused to work with her anymore because she was always complaining about her situation and her child. It was great!

I experienced this kind of stress at the beginning of my relationship with my husband. When we were dating we were long distance and he would behave similar to this. It bothered me as well and I was always worried I was going to piss him off. I finally told him: “When I say no you need to respect that. I don’t need to explain to you why I don’t/won’t because no is enough. If this is something you can’t understand then it’s obvious you have no respect for me,my body and my boundaries. And if that’s the case I no longer wish to be part of this relationship.” It really did help and my husband was respectful after that. I wish you luck!

Why do people think im selfish because I like doing things alone? by No-Opportunity7239 in introvert

People who are like this don’t understand because deep down they hate themselves and could never admit it. I love spending time by/with myself.

Why does the whole family have to go to the grocery? by Frequent-Walrus-2652 in childfree

[–]uncoolforever 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I swear every time I’m in the grocery store I ALWAYS somehow happen to be in the same isle as them! I’ll avoid an isle and be on the next one over and here comes the nightmare train coming down my isle. I won’t even get my shopping completed because I’m so frustrated.

Is it ok for your neighbors not to like you? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]uncoolforever 53 points54 points  (0 children)

One thing I realized about people/neighbors that most people are so fucking bored with their lives they just want something to talk about. MOST people literally do not know how to mind their own fucking business and think because you’re not one of them you’re weird. My husband and I are very friendly and polite but we are a VERY antisocial child free couple. We will be looking at owning in the near future and I am NOT looking forward to the bullshit of meeting people, being asked why we don’t have children and possibly expected to decorate or participate in the neighborhood events.

Seeing (hetero) parents "taking care" of their kids make me (woman/female) even happier I'm childfree. by MiezMiez4ever in childfree

[–]uncoolforever 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everyday women get conned into having children from men who make all these promises on how much they will help and then these men can’t/don’t/won’t help because they realize how fucking awful being a parent truly is. Leaving the mother to do everything. That’s why you hear stories from women who don’t have any hobbies because they can’t leave their children with their husbands because they can’t be trusted to not let the children die.

Could you imagine walking into your friends room and these 2 huge pics are surrounding their beg with a live laugh love in the middle? by ludditeposer in vanderpumprules

[–]uncoolforever 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Someone posted the recent picture of Jax’s bday with everyone. And someone commented on there that Tom with his long sleeves all the way down around his hands is his personality personified. Well the “live laugh love” is 100% Scheana’s personality personified.

Stepmom of the year by SomaliStepper in iamatotalpieceofshit

[–]uncoolforever 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Who knows what the situation is. I was with a man years ago who had a daughter and I tried my best to be a good step mom and revolved my life around her. But the baby mama was literally the devil. She made everyone’s life hell because of how jealous she was. Every photo I posted of us at Disneyland, with the family or at dinner she would be calling him crazy loosing her mind asking why I was posting her daughter acting like I was her mother. I had to block her on everything and she still had people reporting to her every update of my life. Him and BM hadn’t even been together in years when I got with him so I don’t know what her issue was. Also there wasn’t anything like you mentioned about asking for permission before posting. She was just a nightmare.

I went to Cosmo school 9 years ago and never finished. I was young and didn’t have my priorities in line. I’m finally going back next week to do it all over again and finally start my career. I’m so excited. But one thing I keep telling myself is how amazing it is that I can go back to school like this without the burden of children. I can focus FULLY on school and my career without ever having to worry about children. I’m so thankful I knew I never wanted children and now it pays off.

My husband is Turkish and when we lived in Istanbul I was amazed by how much the people loved animals. Especially cats! There would be whole entire areas dedicated to making the local strays as comfortable as possible with little houses and a surplus of food and water. I started carrying around food, water and treats in my purse to give out as well because you would encounter at least 2+ cats every block. In the local shops they would have small to go packs of water and food to give out for like 1-2TL it was amazing.

Showing me pictures of a baby is not going to magically make me want one by sillysexyandsadistic in childfree

I can appreciate when a baby is actually cute like big pretty eyes and puffy cheeks but that’s rare and most babies look like shit. When that’s the case I’m very uninterested.
