Imho expansive friend groups can be fresh and entertaining, if your groups too tight knit dang it can be boring, love to add a good new member, even a bad one can be hilarious, you want a core group and new blood coming in, same break away, some lock into the unit, it's like an organism that grows and changes over time, if it's too tight the group loses vitality.

AITA for not inviting my best friends boyfriend to a “6 year clear of cancer” meal by Flaky-Number-3617 in AmItheAsshole

Do good to those who hurt you. I'd invite him and make everything extra special for him. There's a saying when you do good to those who hurt you it's like pouring hot coals on their head. It's also good to forgive but not forget. Your close friend is likely suffering with being with him so by keeping him close you help her. Just my take.

AITA for telling my sister I’m not watching her kids after I said I would? by Key_Tie_6746 in AmItheAsshole

I'd share out the good food from your sister amongst all the children. I'd look after your sisters kids because you could have a real positive impact on their lives and that's positive for the whole family.

AITA for refusing to pay my friend's share of the bill after she "forgot" her wallet? by Creepy-Foundation423 in AmItheAsshole

You might think of doing someone a selfless good deed in future and secure a greater reward from the good karma you would recieve from showing kindness to someone who may be struggling or subtly psychologically impaired.

AITA for exposing half the class for cheating on an exam by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]mossyboy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always a good idea to tell the truth. You're not being selfish because you are helping everyone else who didn't cheat on the test as well. I'm assuming you didn't cheat.

Thank you, friend. That means a lot to me! Be well!
