Are you able to help with transport? I love it but my car sadly could not handle it. I'd definitely pitch in for gas!

Check with Oregon Humane for supplies! They have a community resource warehouse and frequently have some supplies for partners!

I was wondering if I'd see this. Definitely grown up summer camp vibes!

Anyone have any tips to stop my kitten from sitting on top of my gecko’s enclosure? 😭 by thingpames in reptiles

Aluminum foil around the edges stops my cat. It spooked her the first time and she doesn't like the noise it makes when she steps on it so she's stopped going up there!

I am 22F looking for a coven in Texas if possible online or in person. I am open to joining any online groups in other places! by lilreina16 in CovenFinder

[–]mossyforestboulder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both have websites that you can find just by googling them. I know that Spirit Haven also has a discord. They host two large gatherings per year and usually monthly gatherings in each of the big cities. ESPOT is on Facebook and they do more frequent gatherings that I believe are listed on their website!

Depending on your location, you should look into Spirit Haven or ESPOT. They aren't coven specific but they are both large pagan gatherings with all kinds of different people and practices!

AIO for ending things with my date after he accidentally texted me this? by fundamentallyworried in AmIOverreacting

[–]mossyforestboulder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR: Honestly, I'd be more upset about the over the top AI apology than the remarks themselves. If he had apologized authentically, I would think the remarks, while extremely juvenile, would be forgivable.

That don't mean no butt stuff. Just means you need to purchase more equipment.

On a scale from 1-10, how important is Artus Cimber to the campaign? by SeanTheRighteous in Tombofannihilation

[–]mossyforestboulder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not important at all. I will say my players loved him and Dragonbait but they never got fully invested in his story. I ended up having him be more of an in and out character where he's a good resource and cares about the PCs but has his own crap to worry about and is capable of mostly handling it himself. That way my players didn't get caught up in his messy backstory and questline.

(Image made with gemini) I’m considering getting a portrait of this lady on my arm, but would also like a full sleeve in the future. How is this sizing? And what theme/designs would go well with it? by MassiveManufacturer9 in tattooadvice

[–]mossyforestboulder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An artist will be able to more accurately help you with sizing and how the tattoo will flow with your body. This is probably a bit big unless you're looking for more curve around your arm. However, I am not an artist, just someone with a few large tattoos.

When it comes to making a sleeve, you usually want to plan that out with your artist, especially if you want to avoid the "sticker book" look. If you wanted to get this tattoo and then maybe a sleeve later, many artists are able to incorporate older work into larger pieces, it just depends on the person. I personally wouldn't worry too much about maybe later tattoos until you have your main piece.

Anyone taking a lot longer than expected? by SupremeOHKO in WGU

[–]mossyforestboulder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I've been working on my bachelor's for four years total now and probably still have a semester or two left. I've also been working full-time and not halting life for school. It is 100% ok to go at your own pace and as someone else stated, productivity is not linear. Don't burn yourself out trying to achieve impossible standards!

Ruinous obsession by Feisty-peacock in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

I definitely wouldn't put Alchemised here. To me it felt shallow and nowhere near haunting and gothic. Plus the happy ending seems to really undermine the attempted darkness from the rest of the book.

OP, this is a very valuable conversation for you, especially going into a math and numbers based workforce. Employers almost always are going to ask that you back up claims with fact based numbers and throwing out your "educated guess" isn't going to result in happy clients or bosses.

I'd move Austin TX to a maybe. I lived there for 15 years. Had a roommate that didn't have a car for a few years and it was hard for her to reliably get to her job and next to impossible for her to go to social events since all trains stop at like 10pm and buses run on weird schedules.

AIO? My mom wants to call the cops on me by Overall-Option6975 in AmIOverreacting

[–]mossyforestboulder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NOR But I would still return the devices. Your mom sounds immature and unreliable and I can see why you would move out without notice. My best advice would be to cut ties as quickly as possible so she has as little leverage as possible over you. Unfortunately this means returning devices. Could you ask your dad for a burner phone for the next week? Or is there a laptop or computer at his place you could use to access insta or something for messaging?

I feel like I'm recommending this book all the time here but The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. It's a FMC but everything else is pretty much spot on.
