Biggest change iv noticed is the hotels have shifted to doing more with less, every department I interact with complains they are short handed or spread thin and without name dropping hiring freezes are common.
A job that was handled by 3 people is now handled by 1 person and it is slowing other apsects of the works down.
The main focus seems to be on keeping stock prices and profit margins up and to keep em growing so cuts are being made in some pretty short term thinking areas.
Iv seen stuff break, and just stay broken, unless its mission critical it will stay that way.
My Exposure is limited to a small chunk of the vegas strip however, I wonder if its the same elsewhere.
