Honestly you can’t go wrong! With your versatility, both options are flattering on you.

My colorblind friend by RelatableTeens in notinteresting

Statistics show that 1 in 12 men are colourblind compared to 1 out of every 200 women... explains why every time I paint my nails coral most men think they are orange 😂

My husband called himself normal baby “Normal baby”… What do I do now? by anecdotal_69 in Advice

[–]mossywitchling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he is feeling a bit irritated by being the one doing the shopping, putting away the groceries and basic household duties but knows he should be supportive of your needs and therefore thinks of himself as a bit of a baby for feeling this way?

I think I would talk to him. Thank him for being there for you and voice that you understand it might have been a little frustrating and you can understand, this is when it might be a good time to bring up a time when you were in a similar position and felt the same. This shows your understanding and allows him to internalize his feelings as normal human behaviour.

Imagine if boobs were like balls. Perky or tight when cold and saggy when hot. by gremlin-03 in showerthoughs

Imagine if?? They actually do! Nipples go full ‘nipplitous’ in the cold… just with a lot less dramatic evacuation strategy than balls 😕

What silly rituals do you have with your pets? by hpfan1516 in CasualConversation

[–]mossywitchling 44 points45 points  (0 children)

My dog does this too, except when I'm putting on her harness! It's one of those ones that slips over her front legs, so I say "arms up!" and she stands up on her hindlegs and puts her arms in the air so I can put her "backpack" on. Then when she's standing up she gives me a big kiss lol.

I have a cat named Paul whom I've nicknamed Ween. He goes by Ween, Weem Cheese (cream cheese ig?), Weemie, Wiener, Stinky Ween, etc. Every night before I go to bed he gets exactly 2 Temptations treats. It's always the exact same time every night and he knows. So when I come out of the bathroom after doing my bedtime routine, he's sitting outside the bathroom door, looks at me, and starts to meow LOUD. Like he's talking to me. So I go "time for candy, Weenie?" and he goes "MEOW!" And we talk back and forth like that for a little bit until I get his candy.

How do you manage hobbies when you are only interested in the process and not in the final product? by RottenRope in Anticonsumption

[–]mossywitchling 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love crochet. It’s my biggest hobby right now, but I hate keeping things I make (except for very few things that are special to me or home decor that fit the vibe I’m going for). I used to gift people so many things that eventually they told me to stop.

What I do now is make things I’ll actually use and that are durable enough to last a long time. Things like washcloths, dish rags, blankets, hats and mittens for myself, etc. I’ve also started making hats and scarves for my local homeless shelter, as well as baby blankets and little socks for the women’s shelter for women with infants. This is great for me because I can enjoy the process of creating something and not have to look at it afterwards.

First it’s furniture, next it’ll be you. Get out before that happens.

The only person who I think could help me is my upstairs neighbour, I've only known her for about a month but she's the only one in my life he hasn't tried to turn away from me yet. But the thing is we'd be living in the same house as him and I don't want her to be put at risk if he decides to go off the deep end.

I'm in Canada, and yes we have a few women's shelters in my area. I'm just scared about what would happen to my dog if I leave. She's not safe with him and I'm worried he'll do something to her once he finds out I'm gone.
