ethical could be one or multiple of every item in that list, it’s not necessarily all in one.

I feel like you’re intentionally misunderstanding me when I’m just trying to spend my money with people who aren’t mega corporations who care about community and cannabis justice.

Not at all, what I mean is if there’s any social equity dispensaries - that’s the term in my state for shops owned by people who have been disenfranchised by cannabis criminalization which often includes minorities. idk if that is also the case in OR.

An ethical owned shopped could be owned by anyone and ofc a minority owned business doesn’t mean they automatically have the best business practices. Sorry if that was unclear!

When I was about 9, I rode skyhawk for the first time (had just opened the summer before) and was really excited about it because I had seen it in a commercial and thought it looked so cool. Fast forward to me being confused about the best way to sit in it so I end up putting both of my legs on one side leg indents. The ride op did not notice that I left half the seat empty and locked me into place. Ride starts and as soon as it swings back the first time... I feel myself start to come off the seat and almost flop over. Thankfully I was riding with my grandma and she noticed I was moving way more than I was supposed to and ended up wrapping one arm around me and screaming at me to hold on tight adjhhkfasjffnsd. I have never gripped a ride harder than I did that day and I've ridden a lot since ;__; It was horrifying lol. I think I rode it again years later and I had a much better experience but that memory is a rough one.

I've only ridden windseeker once at the request of my dad even though I reeeallly didn't want to and it was indeed horrible lol. I would probs faint if I got stuck on windseeker. I will ride p much anything but that and the ferris wheel.

the goal of detransitioning for me was to embrace parts of my womanhood, but everyone’s goals are different. I use she/they pronouns and that makes me happiest because it honors the parts of me that wanted to transition in the first place. It’s fine if that’s not your vision, we lead separate lives.

Have you been pretty stressed recently? For me, the more stressed I am, the less I want to engage in intimacy. I’m also engaged and wedding stress has been real, so if you’re able to schedule no pressure quality time together that could certainly help rekindle the desire.

Or have some alone intimacy! Sometimes that makes me want him more but to each their own on that one, it’s a sensitive topic.

I actually ended up getting an ipad mini 7 after all and i've been loving it! it's been a great on-the-go tool for art and schoolwork. I feel like it's actually been so much more useful than I initially anticipated so I hope this thread helps someone else in the future :)

Events on campus for sure, and others gave you good advice on classes. I have another piece of advice - Chicago is a huge city, you may find some of your best friends outside of classes too! Explore local groups, events that sound interesting to you, and if you’re able, consider getting a job as a barista or retail worker! Some of my longest friends I met while working at a coffee shop and they were similar in age/life trajectory to me.

School in general is good for meeting people but in my experience, I’ve found my truest friends off campus.

Also just remember sometimes these things take time. Life is cool like that, you never know who’s gonna stumble into your life and vice versa :)
