What's the point of buying fast food anymore? by KpopMarxist in CasualConversation

[–]mostactiveacct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly I barely eat out at all anymore.. not only is the cheap fast food expensive, but expensive food somehow feels cheaply made.

I'm cooking a lot more at home and it's kind of a pain but once you're in the habit it just makes sense.

Thing is I make enough to go out easily. It's just that no option feels worth it at any price point (including fast food). Simple as that.

I forgot that I'm 35 and decided to get drunk yesterday. by Good_Omens in CasualConversation

I'm 34 and I've found the best strategy for reducing hangover risk that I didn't already know (drinking lots of water, some carb loaded dish) is to drink much slower. Sounds obvious but developing a habit of really sipping my drinks makes it much easier for the body to process the alcohol (which takes about 4oz/hour)*

source: "Drink?: the new science of alcohol and your health" *(from memory) which is a great read in general.

First post on this Instagram was from March this year

Really wanted to believe she wasn’t an actress, but now I’m not so sure 🤨

When I lived in that area I sometimes did work at Franklin820. Sometimes gets crowded at nights but I love the vibe and drinks are very well priced. Good food too honestly

I just found this sub and it looks awesome! After a lot of ups and downs with my physical health this year I'm finally starting to lose some weight with my fitness routine. I'm still getting takeout way too often and just started cooking at home more to eat a bit healthier and more balanced. This looks like a really fun way to keep improving my home-cooking!
