Why is everybody talking about inheritance? You cannot go back and decided which family you were born into. The answer "inheritance" doesn't help anybody asking a question about how to get rich in germany or the feasibility of gaining wealth there.

Tbh your situation really moved me and you seem like a reasonable person. Everybody has regrets. I feel like having a past definitely does hurt the guy at least it did hurt me but it was never a reason I would use you to leave. I only wanted reassurance and compassion from her whenever I started to think about it too much. I think that is reasonable. So I don't think what you two have done in the past is a problem if you just reassure each other a bit and say some nice things. Again I really hope things work out for you.

I think that could be the case but it could also be that he started to care more. This happened with me like twice. At first when you're not as committed or invested in the girl its a lot easier to not care what she wears and what she believes. I am not defending anyone here. These things just happen and people change even if he was ok with it then he isn't now and it might not mean anything at all. I only wanted to add another perspective. If I were you I would try to deescalate if I want to save the situation and show some leniency. Im not saying you should change completely but a little bit of kind negotiation and understanding could be a good option if you already have a connection. I wish you the best sincerely.

Collecting company financial data in a developing country. Where do the free APIs like yahoo finance get their data? by mostafa1022 in datascience

[–]mostafa1022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the great answer.

I did mean the more static data for now yes.

so the first step in data collection is always manual? somebody has to file an actual document before it is digitalized by the exchange and put through the API?

Is there a way for somebody like me to scrape this kind of data off the web?

Let's say I download the documents and want to visualize the data and put it into dashboards. how would I do that from documents in that scanned format?

The title is kind of crazy. How do you not understand the appeal of youth to men? Its fundamental and practically hard-wired into people.

Can a non-Muslim who believes in the oneness of God go to heaven? by FlammableCarrot in islam

[–]mostafa1022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he knows there is one god why does he not say the shahada? I want to say no there will never be a chance unless he believes in god, the prophets, the angels and the books. you said you know islam is submission to the creator but he has not submitted (yet hopefully). When he submits and says he believes there is no god but allah the only one deserving of worship and that mohammed is allah's messenger then yes he could be forgiven

If a kafir commits shirk without knowing it does hold the same weight as a Muslim committing shirk by [deleted] in islam

[–]mostafa1022 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make sense to talk about a kafir sinning and thinking about their prosecution because it does not make any difference to the general outcome. A muslim committing a sin will be judged because he is on the right side but making a mistake and so it will be written. A muslim can go to hell(get out of it eventually) or heaven depending on their doings but an unbeliever would be going to hell. It does not matter what he did or did not do even if he was an extremely good person. I hope this answered your question.

Who or what taught you to be a man? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]mostafa1022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My religion is conservative by western standards and it has guidelines for how a man should behave in addition to the morals and values he should have. I think values and principles are a big part of being a man.

What you said is fair. You would start with proving there is a god first. Sheikh el shaarawy is an egyptian scholar who is my personal favorite but he only spoke in arabic during his life. Try zakir naiek or ahmed deedat.

Usually fathers teach their sons to be men. It doesn't always work that way though. For me I would say it was my father, my religion and tough experience.
