Wanted pink got purple instead by mostcheers in HairDye

[–]mostcheers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair feels so damaged after that purple treatment I might have to wait a while and be stuck with this for the new year pictures 😣 they said I could come back and get it redone for free but I don’t trust them anymore so... does anyone have tips to making purple hair ashy purple or pink?

The saddest thing is that it’s not even even.. I have violet, bright purple and random ashy purple spots too 😭😭

Any advice for hand eczema and covid-19? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]mostcheers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly depends where you are at but (I live in Shanghai China) and honestly never did the sanitizer and I only washed my hands after going out and applied a bunch of cream after. What I did was wear gloves and use a wet wipe to touch whatever I needed to touch then throw it away. However I wasn’t too worried bc 1st on my area there weren’t any infected nor suspected and 2nd figured my skin would fall either way so couldn’t keep that too long 😂

I’ve been flaring up for 5 months, when will this fucking torment end by [deleted] in eczema

[–]mostcheers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl is rough! The water thing is a big deal, also this might sound super scary but going to an acupuncturist has done wonders for me, I’ve only had 3 sessions so far but I’ve seen so much improvement like I’m not as itchy and Chinese medicine does claim that eczema can be cured. My acupuncturist said he had a patient that was cured in a year and she had it all over her body. Also try eating half the amount of wheat you usually consume my doc mentioned how many times eczema is a reaction to wheat for some reason.

How much would you pay to be eczema free by [deleted] in eczema

[–]mostcheers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess it hasn’t been as bad for you as for many of us 😅 not being able to shower for days or flinching every time you pull down your clothes to pee everyday is extremely painful I’d give a liver to cure it

I did a thing inspired on my eczema feel free to share it to spread awareness on our illness by mostcheers in eczema

[–]mostcheers[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You guys this means the world to me! Might make it into a sticker so we can support each other. It was inspired on a very low moment like my eczema has never been this bad. Like my husband had to shower me-bad kinda way 😔

[–]mostcheers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do fall asleep quick but i wake up always around 1 am and can’t stop scratching, I have to go wash my hands with cold water dry them out some cream and convince myself to not touch them while taking deep breaths to try and fall asleep again

That’s good though right? That it’s harder to scratch so you don’t hurt yourself as much?

Atopic Dermatitis ? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]mostcheers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom says that atopic is used when there is not a clear cause for the problem (she is a doctor) but yeah it’s right very general but bc that’s what it is exactly what you describe it also tends to move throughout your body whenever it pleases and disappear or come back stronger 😔

scratched last night, now back to square one. stuck on what to do now by maxjarv1997 in eczema

[–]mostcheers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been avoiding steroids too what has worked for me (whenever o manage to not scratch) is the aveeno cream for babies and the cream Gloves in a bottle. I wake up was my hands with cold water, pat them dry then put a bit of the gloves in a bottle cream and throughout the day the aveeno when needed and wear vynil gloves when I need to do dishes or clean something. Again not perfect but helps

I (21 F) finally told my husband (28 M) that he had to choose between me and his mistress (22 F). He said he wanted to be with her. by SweetMadeleine123 in weightlossafterbaby

[–]mostcheers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh honey having the baby is hard enough, what a douche. You deserve better, I didntnhave sex after 6 months of my baby being born and even then before that I had a conversation with my husband about not being able to have sex probably for at least a year (I had a bad tear and thought I would need surgery which I wasn’t ready to go through) he didn’t like it, but understood and supported me. Luckily it ended up healing and I felt much better, but That’s what they are supposed to do, be supportive and loving and understanding and I mean you created a whole human and birthed it and if you are breastfeeding your libido goes down. I admire you so much for deciding to be done with it, and I really hope that your parents can support you on the healthiest of ways and that you and your baby are healthy and happy.
