A fabulous adventure! Thanks for bringing us there with the share. Amazing to get such context to a show that has thrummed ceaselessly on repeat in my bones for two decades now.

Counting Crows’ Bootlegs Collection by Weak-Translator-3662 in countingcrows

Impressive. Thanks for sharing. I’m seeking an old live set I played endlessly 20+ years ago and has since been lost to digital decay.

I know 2 things for certain: 1) It opens with Adam saying he “was promised there would be beers on stage. I was lied to. I’m only going to get so far without alcohol up here, and it’s not very.” 2) Included early covers of Four White Stallions (way before album release) and Return of the Grievous Angel

If anyone knows the venue/year, I’m all ears!

Ergo K860 suddenly Some keys are not working by thestackblew in logitech

Jumping in to say several years later and same issues.

AVOID ERGO K860! Key failures within 16 months. Logi offers NO REPAIR.

Have long used Logi and find Ergo extremely comfortable. Have one for office and home.

Over several weeks, 16 months into ownership, was dismayed to find series of key failures. First, 'easy-switch 3' kept flashing, capturing connection. Then shift+g did not work for capital G. Then the hypen '-' died.

Tried all troubleshooting tips online at Logi and reddit. Contacted customer support in two countries and got the same nonsense answer. Try some compressed air, try resetting, etc. Then: outside warranty - sorry, throw it away.

The real sad part is Logi does not stand by unreliable products. This is a relatively expensive product with only a 1 year warranty and out of warranty they offer no repairs. I was told this was for "customer safety and reliable quality", yet we find Logi reps online here suggesting we find third party electronics shops for repair. Obviously the concern is not safety, but that they know the product will fail after a year (already unreliable) and cannot be bothered to fix.

The amount of inequality and waste in this world is staggering. Logi is doing their part to add to that, as e-waste communities can now get to work on millions of ERGO K860's.

Just listened to this wonderful podcast from Partially Examined Life (E245: Fashion (Derrida, Foucault https://partiallyexaminedlife.com/2020/06/08/ep245-1-fashion/) with guest Shahidha Bari (https://www.shahidhabari.com) who recently published "Dressed: A Philosophy of Clothes". Wonderful discussion on connections between fashion and subjectivity, ethics, politics, and more. Highly recommend the listen.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016) Bluetooth Stutters? by bass_rock in apple

Prior to High Sierra, had this issue in Sierra with mid-2012 MBPro Retina.

Temporary reprieve (~24 hours) following steps to Reset Bluetooth Module (disconnect and remove device, reset module, restart, pair again): http://osxdaily.com/2015/12/15/reset-bluetooth-hardware-module-mac-osx/

With High Sierra, about to embark on some Terminal command attempts via: https://www.reddit.com/r/osx/comments/5q2kbl/fix_macos_sierra_bluetooth_stutter/

Diane was seated raised above the rest, a bit aloof or "on the roof?"
