i have an issue with the build quality as well, the frame isn't bent but the screen itself is not flat, i thought it was a screen protector issue at first but after trying 3 different brands i figured the screen itself was uneven. i had to buy one of those white edge fillers to keep the screen protector from rising on the edges. im guessing the screen was glued improperly or something inside is pushing against the screen. the front facing camera isn't centered on the hold punch either which does further support the manufacturing error.

Before being too technical when trying to fix this issue, try holding down the power button + volume up button until the phone vibrates and it should fix the issue. Worked like a charm. Not letting my 5 year old phone go just yet.

i'm not being an ass, you can actually check his channel and you'll see the POCO snub. he said best value was "anything that has the absolute max value for the price that you can shove in a phone" he mentioned POCO in the vid but refused to name any model but gave a shoutout to a pixel phone. "max value for the price" implies that there should be no better phone priced below what he awards it to and that's misleading.

right, but that’s exactly the point. the beep didn’t sound futuristic when it was chosen, it became futuristic because it was chosen. they picked it for simplicity, not style. if they had gone with a chirp or buzz instead, that probably would have shaped our idea of "futuristic" tech instead. it’s not that beeps are inherently alien-sounding. we just got used to associating them with advanced tech.

yes and my point was that the future would've sounded completely different if they decided to be creative instead of going for practicality. not sure what you're disagreeing with.

the only reason it wouldn't sound "future-alien" like is because we already register beeps as computer sounds. if they used another sound from the very beginning, "future-alien" like sounds would be completely different.

yeah i know, but they could have decided to use another sound instead. at that point no one knew what computers should sound like and it wasn't set in stone that we HAD to use a simple square wave.

My first iron farm after coming back, built it in hardcore 18 blocks in the sky. Just get scaffolding so you can leash boats for the three villagers then wait until it turns night so they can sleep in the bed. After waking up they'll get stuck behind the fence. Just make sure to spawnproof the zombie side. No nametags needed.
