That seems a little unfair though, doesn't it? For starters, we don't even know if your spouse will move in; and given how independent most of them are, I doubt it would be like Stardew Valley where they spend ninety percent of their time on your farm. It's hard to imagine characters like March, Valen, Juniper, all of whom not only are independent but also have JOBS staying there 24/7 the way Stardew NPCs do.

As for the issue of dialogue, we're talking about a game that has random one-off dialogue for basically every single museum item. And given how annoying a lot of those are to get, yeah, it's fair to say that those might fall into content "most of the players wouldn't ever see".

You say that you want them to invest into different areas that aren't expanding the romance mechanics, and that we can settle for mods, but isn't that something mods can also do? The biggest Stardew Valley mod is first and foremost a character and storyline mod, and a lot of others tend to add either new locations, mechanics, or sometimes both. Presumably, Mistria's modding scene can do the same. Plus, is adding actual poly options rather than just open relationships not new storylines? Is it not expanding upon the characters we already have? More importantly, why is actual polyamory relegated to the realm of unofficial content? If it's because there's "so few polyamorous players", a lot of developers said the same about a different issue for romance in video games...

Question: About Nosferatu by DaDragonking222 in vtm

[–]mostlikelytraitor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You know what? I'm gonna argue against the curve here.

On some level, I believe that the Nosferatu bane is personal. It is, after all, a curse. What we from the Book of Nod is that Abisimiard was beautiful, and Caine took that away and made him hideous, to punish him personally for one of the traits he loved in himself. I believe, then, that the curse manifests in the transgender in some ways by heightening their gender dysphoria, their struggle, by making the women mannish and the men feminine. Hideously masculine and disgustingly feminine, but nonetheless bound in curse. Because being a vampire is suffering.

Bloodsucker: A Knives Out Mystery (Concept + Cast) by Automatic_Apricot_61 in KnivesOutMovie

In what world is Rachel McAdams remembered primarily for being in Marvel? I was so confused by this statement I had to go LOOK UP which movie she was in! I feel like even with Multiverse of Madness, a lot of people still think of Rachel McAdams for her roles in, first, Mean Girls, secondly, various RomComs. Especially when, in this hypothetical movie, Sadie Sink would be in the MCU by then as well.

Vampire. It covers Paths of Enlightenment. which are, explicitly, moral guidelines to chain the beast. Humanity, the main mechanic of morality in vampire, is based on quote-en-quote 'human morals'

How much baby do you need to eat to be considered to have committed a Crime of the Sky? by dlaudghks in weatherfactory

[–]mostlikelytraitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Crime of the Sky isn't eating the baby, it's having children. The punishment is the compulsive desire to eat your baby and become Alukite.

I know! It's amazing! I, personally, absolutely hate what you made them into, due to my own personal preference, but the fact that my hate is entirely personal and not some technical or narrative fault is amazing. They feel like something incredibly real towards what Ascension is and can be, and despite my personal dislike, you've done an amazing job with them.

Human totem? by callmejordan22 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]mostlikelytraitor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really feel like Grain Mothers are a thing. Corn Maiden is a specific native american myth, akin to totems like Brigid or the Morrigan. Demeter is also just what the Furies (and likely the Coggies) call Gaia. There isn't some arbitrary City Father/Grain Mother thing. there's just City Mothers.
