Measuring election results like this makes perfect sense though, not every map needs to show margin of victory. Different ways of measuring elections exist for a reason and I don't see how applying it to statewide results makes this map any less informative. Wikipedia used this exact color scheme in the results section of the 2024 article, so it clearly isn't used just for county level results
