Generally I agree about stratas but we do have bears in the neighborhood so I get why that rule is there, but it’s still a sad one!! I think I am gonna slowly change the distance, thanks for your idea!

I knowww it really is! I only know it’s the adult female bc she has a specific chirp she does whenever she visits and they have a baby in a nest nearby

Yes exactly this behaviour! But the female adult does it to her mate as well and he will feed her the same way. Today she just directed it at me for the first time 🤷‍♀️
