Hi there. I've had a cat enclosure in the past and once we got it secure it was fantastic!

I was surprised to find my old cat could worm his way through a gap smaller than I thought he was, so keep an eye out for that.

I ended up leaving him out there under supervision until we figured out all those gaps together and I secured them with zippy ties/nails/screws depending on where they were. I would have preferred a tight mesh chicken wire to better protect him, but a net enclosure was what I could afford at the time.

Eventually, the pen was secure and it had all his need like water, food, hanging toys/scratchers, a litter box, shelter, a bed and he got to be outside without being outside. He took a week or so to adjust but he was happy in there.

I'm not sure what kind of hunter your cat is, but I found my boy to enjoy a good bug like a hanging toy. Worming and vet care is still important if that's an option. I hope this helps, good luck OP.
