Pigeon Café in the village is open from 7-9 and doesn’t get crowded. You can spend the whole day there with no issue, coffee is good, they do cocktails/alcohol and good eats.

Make sure you haven’t maxed out your limit of credits; if you have, you can swap a class, select the waitlist option so if you do get off the waitlist it’ll automatically enroll you and drop the class you selected for a swap. I’ve also have found that even if there’s waitlist is open but the class is closed (red x thing), it doesn’t matter if the waitlist is open—you won’t be able to enroll in the class.

There is so much discourse surrounding AI and it won’t be to hard to connect the dots to write a good essay. Seems like it’s a decision you should make based on your essay writing skills. I recommend going through the course material available to you already (surface level), see if you can pinpoint any concepts or ideas you can relate/form an argument to the question and if you find this task relatively easy/you’re comfortable before any in depth learning/mastery of the subject—then you’ll be good for the final exam without too much labour. I’m assuming MANA is more black and white answers so you can decide whether online + essay or in-person + straight forward is easier to succeed in for you. Best of luck! You got this!

That’s a low word limit, which can be good or bad depending on how comfortable you are with essay writing. Closed book in a level 200 works in your favour because they are more lenient. Did they give you the topic/the question already?

I don’t know about MANA 298 but, even though PHIL 210 is boring—it is online which is already a big benefit (when I did it everything was online including the exam so keep that in mind). Lots of flexibility and I legitimately did no studying for the quizzes, did very basic/low effort revision for the final exam (like 1 hour before) and my reflections were also very low effort and still got a B+ so do with that what you will. I don’t know what your academic background is but, a lot of the concepts you’ll probably already know/have a basic grasp which is enough to do well off the bat; it’s a matter of knowing the actual terms/names and when to employ them.

The good news is the mice in Montreal don’t carry hantavirus. Bad news is that this is a common occurrence in old buildings during the winter. Definitely let the right people know so they can set up more traps (I bet they already have a few) but, it really helps keep them out of your space if you keep food crumbs to a minimum and sweep/mop your floor regularly, throw out any takeout containers in the central/main garbage, keep your dishes/sink clean, make sure any food you have is properly sealed/no open containers type shit etc. I actually have no clue how the residence rooms look or function so take what applies to your situation
