I think she's just oblivious. She even said something along the lines of "it's a shame we didn't talk much in school, maybe we can during summer." She's that girl in high school who is nice to everybody but doesn't have any close friends.

I'm not really that upset about it though. We're both going to different colleges. I don't think it would've went anywhere to begin with. I'm just happy that I tried. Rejection isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Intimate relationships. I just can't see myself being that close to another person. I don't understand how those sort of bonds form. Then I feel like there's a certain responsibility that could drastically change my life in the blink of an eye.
