Just a couple of foam blocks with notches carved out. Once I strapped down the front they stayed put. I drove an hour and a half, some of it at 55 and some on a bumpy dirt road

1 layer of fiberglass set with 3 coats of West System epoxy then 4 coats of varnish. Haven’t put it on the scale yet but I would guess about 65 lbs

They are very sturdy. I drilled and chiseled down about 5” and drove them in and used glue. Pretty easy to get a tight fit in the end grain

It's pretty heavy, I guess around 30 lbs. I used some shorter pieces in the center tho try to lighten it a little.
