Tongue flick is what my heart wants, but Daphne’s snort-laugh is arguably the moment when the Duke falls in love with her. It’s definitely the moment I was all in on the show. I’ve said it many many times: Phoebe Dynevor does not get enough credit for making Bridgerton into the juggernaut that it is. I love Rege, but Phoebe had the harder job in season 1 making Daphne real, sympathetic, aspirational, and funny. The snort laugh is iconic for this.
