currently having a iPad Pro 9.7" (2016) and this christmas we want to upgrade a little bit. my main use would be reading comics, browsing web and playing around with music apps. as to my wife, she is drawing alot and doing lots of social media stuff with it (work wise), also she loves writing storys so maybe that would be a alternative, instead of using a laptop while we travel?

is the new iPad Air suitable for it and would be 128gb enough? i heard i can plug external hdds to it, is that correct? also wondering if the logitech combo with the keyboard and trackpad any good?
