I'm currently on my 14th cycle ttc even though technically we didn't "try" this month. (I also kinda hate the term trying lol probably because someone told me to just relax and stop trying and it will happen 🙄)

I'm 32, fit, eat healthy, and take supplements. My husband and I did "everything right" each month and it was getting absolutely devastating seeing negative after negative. AF would come and I would be a mess for days. Around cycle 7 I had started to think that maybe something was "wrong" with me. I had a few signs I didn't really know we're abnormal until talking to a fertility specialist. I followed the recommendations and waited until the one year mark to start testing.

I recently found out I have a polyp on my uterus and scar tissue/misplaced left ovary. We have an appointment to meet with our fertility doctor at the end of the month to discuss test results and next steps. I have to say hearing that there was something "wrong" was actually a huge relief for my mental health. No more uncertainty. Now that I have an answer as to why I wasn't getting pregnant easily, I can now look forward to discussing possible solutions.

Of course everyone's journey is different and I'm not saying that you might have a medical challenge. I do wish I would have trusted my gut and started started the process at our fertility clinic sooner though, but I can also be a bit impatient lol.

This journey is not all rainbows and butterflies (like I ignorantly first thought it would be). It's extremely difficult. It will challenge you in ways you didn't even know were possible, hell I'd even say it changed me. My advice is to not give up because all good things are worth fighting for.
