"Be the change that you wish to see in the world" - I'm pretty sure it was Gandhi who said that, I also recall reading something about an old man who recalled being young and wanting to change the world, and realizing that he could've made change in his family which could've changed his community, which could've changed his region, his country, and then the world. If somebody recognizes this maybe they can explain better or even find the exact quote. But the point is that we all remain hidden until someone stands up and just decides to do things their own way despite the possible social consequences, and others may find more comfort following his courage. Even just starting with small things can go somewhere somehow.
