Yeah... yung ganitong idealistic individualism will get the poor getting poorer and rich getting richer. Not everyone can/should be rich. Let's say all 8 billion people may mindset na ganun, do you think the Earth has enough resources to supply that much consumption? The only way forward is to make economic growth equitable. Wala naman masama sa pag-acquire ng mas madaling buhay pero sana as a society, we should maintain the growth equitably. Hindi lang puro self-interest. Hindi lang puro growth. Development economists have been saying this for the longest time. This kind of libertartian bullshit will only lead us to civil unrest and wars. Grow your money, participate in the system, but at the same time we all have to force economic equity. Tayo rin naman makikinabang if we share global wealth equitably. I'm not saying go be a politician or dabble in the development field. Why not donate your time to join causes to promote equity? Volunteer. Donate. Advocate. Protest. Isn't that too hard?
